Recently there has been a few state actors who are now threating the United States much more then
they have in the past. The foremost and greatest threat to the U.S. is North Korea as it stands right

missile and nuclear programs were the most urgent threat to national security and that its means to
deliver them had increased in speed and scope (Ali, 2017). Over the past six months, the Korean

The Korean War, which started 67 years ago, which has technically never ended, led to the deaths
of about 600,000 North Korean and 1 million South Koreans, along with hundreds of thousands of
U.S. troops (Berlinger, 2017). The legacy of the brutal war lives on in North Korea, where key
pieces of propaganda are still used by the regime today. The world is closely watching the tug of
war between the world s super power and the lonely North Koreans, having both President
Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un aware of the immense cost of the another Korean

have proved over time they can demonstrate restraint, de escalate a crisis and step back from the
