PART 1
• Siswa mampu: menganalisis fungsi sosial, struktur
teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks interaksi

pengandaian diikuti oleh perintah/saran, sesuai
dengan bidang keahlian dan konteks penggunaannya.
 Siswa mampu menyusun teks interaksi
transaksional lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan
tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi
terkait pengandaian diikuti oleh
perintah/saran, dengan memperhatikan
fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur
kebahasaan yang benar dan sesuai konteks
 Secara umum ada 3 hal yang perlu kita
pahami pada bab ini, yaitu:
1. If clause
2. Imperative
3. Suggestion
 If clause adalah unsur kalimat yang bisa bermakna jika, jika nanti,
seandainya, atau andaikan saja tergantung pada klause setelahnya. SM
 Contohnya:
 If you don’t do anything, you get nothing. (If Type 0)
◦ Jika kamu tidak melakukan apapun, kamu ga dapat apa – apa.
 If you work hard, you will be succesful. (If Type 1)
◦ Jika kamu bekerja keras, nanti kamu akan sukses.
 If you were a teacher, you would feel emphatetic to him. (If Type 2)
◦ Seandainya kamu seorang guru, kamu akan merasa empati padanya. (Kamu bukan
seorang guru)
 If you had managed your time, you would have finished your tasks on
time. (If Type 3)
◦ Seandainya saja kamu waktu itu telah mengatur waktu dengan baik, kamu akan telah
menyelesaikan tugasmu tepat waktu.
 Imperative adalah kata perintah yang
bentuknya selalu verb 1 (pada kalimat verba)
SM dan berawalan be (pada kalimat nomina)
SM
 Contohnya:
◦ Exercise regulary!
◦ Prepare well!
◦ Say sorry for your mistakes!
◦ Go to school early!
◦ Be patient!
◦ Be consistent!
 Suggestion adalah kalimat saran yang
tujuannya memberikan masukan kepada
seseorang, kata yang sering digunakan
adalah should, ought to, why don’t, had
better bermakna sama, sebaiknya.
 Contohnya:
◦ You should exercise regulary.
◦ Why don’t you prepare it well.
◦ You ought to say sorry for your mistakes.
◦ You had better go to school early.
 If you see John, tell him he needs to come to
my office.
 If you travel abroad, remember the passport
 If you go to Australia, send me a postcard.
 If you go to the supermarket, bring
back some milk.
 If Mike comes, call me.
If you visit Seattle, take a tour in Pike Place

KELAS 12 SMK PERTEMUAN 34//IF CLAUSE IMPERATIVE Part 1

  • 1. by Mr. Salam If Clause + Imperative/Suggestion PART 1
  • 2. • Siswa mampu: menganalisis fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait pengandaian diikuti oleh perintah/saran, sesuai dengan bidang keahlian dan konteks penggunaannya.
  • 3.  Siswa mampu menyusun teks interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait pengandaian diikuti oleh perintah/saran, dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan yang benar dan sesuai konteks
  • 4.  Secara umum ada 3 hal yang perlu kita pahami pada bab ini, yaitu: 1. If clause 2. Imperative 3. Suggestion
  • 5.  If clause adalah unsur kalimat yang bisa bermakna jika, jika nanti, seandainya, atau andaikan saja tergantung pada klause setelahnya. SM  Contohnya:  If you don’t do anything, you get nothing. (If Type 0) ◦ Jika kamu tidak melakukan apapun, kamu ga dapat apa – apa.  If you work hard, you will be succesful. (If Type 1) ◦ Jika kamu bekerja keras, nanti kamu akan sukses.  If you were a teacher, you would feel emphatetic to him. (If Type 2) ◦ Seandainya kamu seorang guru, kamu akan merasa empati padanya. (Kamu bukan seorang guru)  If you had managed your time, you would have finished your tasks on time. (If Type 3) ◦ Seandainya saja kamu waktu itu telah mengatur waktu dengan baik, kamu akan telah menyelesaikan tugasmu tepat waktu.
  • 6.  Imperative adalah kata perintah yang bentuknya selalu verb 1 (pada kalimat verba) SM dan berawalan be (pada kalimat nomina) SM  Contohnya: ◦ Exercise regulary! ◦ Prepare well! ◦ Say sorry for your mistakes! ◦ Go to school early! ◦ Be patient! ◦ Be consistent!
  • 7.  Suggestion adalah kalimat saran yang tujuannya memberikan masukan kepada seseorang, kata yang sering digunakan adalah should, ought to, why don’t, had better bermakna sama, sebaiknya.  Contohnya: ◦ You should exercise regulary. ◦ Why don’t you prepare it well. ◦ You ought to say sorry for your mistakes. ◦ You had better go to school early.
