This document provides an overview of cloning pluggable databases (PDBs) in Oracle using SQL commands. It discusses Oracle multi-tenant architecture and the different options for cloning PDBs, including from another PDB, a non-CDB, or a remote source. The bulk of the document demonstrates how to clone a local PDB from a source PDB using SQL commands, with examples of different cloning options and parameters.
