I have worked 30 years in the drilling industry, I started my career in the North Sea as a drilling roustabout and worked my way up to the position of main driller, I spent 10 years working in the North Sea and a further 20 years working overseas in Africa, China, Brazil, Australia, U.S.A and Norway on 6th generation Cyber base semi submersibles and drill ships. Also, I have worked on NOV and AKER hydraulic hoisting systems, (RAM RIGS) and have a good knowledge of conventional semi submersibles, jack ups, platforms, and land rigs, working with operating systems such as MH-Wirth/AKER & NOV cyber base drilling equipment. Worked as AUX driller picking up and making up casing string, running casing strings to setting point, cementing casing.
Making up bottom hole assemblies in preparation of up and coming operations on main well.
Relieve main driller on main well operations.
Generally ensure main well operations will be given as much help as possible and the operation runs smoothly.

Petro Well Services (Norway) – MH-Wirth/AKER hydraulic hoisting system (RAM RIG) Jotun B Platform.
• As the Driller on the Optimus MH-Wirth hydraulic, RAM RIG. I was fully responsible for supervising the PWS rig
crew & service partners involved in carrying out the P & A operations on the Jotun B platform. I must ensure
that all personnel are conducting operations safely, and in accordance with the specific operational procedures
for each task.
• As a Driller, I am the first line of defence in any well control situation, and obliged to monitor the well
constantly, and know how to react and take appropriate actions to secure the well if any doubt is raised.
• I am also responsible for maintenance & safe operation of all drilling control systems; i.e. travelling block hoist
system; top drive; pipe handling systems; mud circulating systems; and Blow-out prevention (BOP) equipment.
Due to the nature of the P & A work, the Driller will be designated as the focal point for all service personnel,

3. Driller. January 2016 - July 2016
Altea Resources (Caspian Sea, Iran) – Amir Khabir (4th
Generation Aker Semi-Submersible).
• The time I spent on the Amir Khabir. I was the driller on the crew involved in a maintenance and refurbishment
program to upgrade the MH-Wirth drilling package, B.O.P and circulating system.
• As the supervisor, I had to ensure that all personnel are conducting operations safely, and in accordance with
the specific operational procedures for each task.

• The time I spent on the rig as a driller the rig had a contract to perform a work overs campaign and the change
out of defective subsea Xmas trees for Chevron, off-shore Angola.
• My duties also included the maintenance & safe operation of all (NOV) drilling control systems; i.e. travelling
block hoist system; top drive; pipe handling systems; mud circulating systems.

• As the driller on the Songa Eclipse I was involved in a drilling campaign off-shore Angola for Total. I had to
