Offshore Experience
• 2 years’ experience operating drilling equipment.
• Performing drilling related operations such as directional drilling, working
stuck pipe, running and cementing casing and other special ops.
• Able to perform daily checks such as Derrick inspections, BOP and choke
line-up.
• Maintain accurate records of tubulars, tools and BHA.
• Maintain equipment files, logs and records; perform all technical calculations.

Over the years I have completed numerous training courses related to the
industry with the vast majority being associated with risk assessment and safety.
I have 14 years of training history, which is available for inspection. Listed above
are some of the most important.
Rig History
I started my offshore career with Santa Fe on the jack-up Galaxy 1. I then moved to
the jack-up Magellan and on to my present rig the Monarch. I also completed a spell
on the semi-submersible 714 and was able to grasp the basic workings of that rig
type.
Education History
I completed secondary education leaving school at age 17 with o grades in
arithmetic, English, Geography, biology and art and design. Higher in art and design
and geography. I also hold a full clean driving license.

3. Hobbies and interests
I enjoy travelling at home and abroad and love to discover new places. Angling and
bird watching are my favored hobbies but I also spend time walking and cycling. I
have recently completed the first two parts of my motorcycle test.
Personal Qualities
I am a person who is equally suited to working within a team or on my own. Working
long hours and up to 3 weeks away is what I am accustomed to. I cope well in high
pressure situations and take enormous pride in my work, continually striving toward
the next level.
