Georgia HomePLACE (Providing Library and Archives Collections Electronically) encourages public libraries and related institutions across the state to participate in The Digital Library of Georgia. The HomePLACE model shifts focus from funding repetitive projects at individual institutions, to a collaborative model which centralizes infrastructure and supports community projects at the local level. Presenter discusses HomePLACE's challenges and successes over the last 15 years, and where the program is headed in the future.
