3. COMPUTER
-is a programmable machine. The two principal
characteristics of a computer are: It responds to a
specific set of instructions in a well-defined manner
and it can execute a prerecorded list of instructions
(a program).
4. MONITOR
-an instrument or device used for observing,
checking, or keeping a continuous record
of a process or quantity.
-is an electronic visual computer display that
includes a screen, circuitry and the case in
which that circuitry is enclosed
5. KEYBOARD
-is one of the primary input devices used
with a computer that looks similar to
those found on electric typewriters, but
with some additional keys
-keyboards allow you to
input letters, numbers, and
other symbols into a computer that can
serve as commands or be used to type
text.
6. CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT
-is the unit which performs most of the
processing inside a computer
-to control instructions and data flow to
and from other parts of the computer,
the CPU relies heavily on a chipset,
which is a group of microchips located
on the motherboard.
7. MOUSE
-is a hand-held pointing device that
detects two-dimensional motion relative
to a surface
-this motion is typically translated into
the motion of a pointer on a display,
which allows a smooth control of
the graphical user interface.
8. AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATION
-is a family of microcontrollers developed
by Atmel beginning in 1996
(later MicrochipTechnology acquired
Atmel in 2016)
-These are modified Harvard
architecture 8-bit RISC single-chip
microcontrollers
9. PRINTER
-a printer is a peripheral device which
makes a persistent human-readable
representation of graphics or text
on paper
-is an external hardware output
device that takes the electronic data
stored on a computer or other device
and generates a hard copy of it
10. SPEAKER
-is a hardware device that connects to a
computer to generate sound.
-The signal used to produce the sound
that comes from a computer speaker is
created by the computer's sound card.
11. HEADPHONE
-a hardware output device that either
plug into your computer line out or
your speakers to privately listen to audio
without disturbing others
-are a pair of small speakers used for
listening to sound from a computer,
music player or other such electronic
device
