This document defines and describes the main internal and external components of a basic computer system. It explains that the mouse is used to control the graphical user interface, the keyboard is used for text input similarly to typewriters, and the printer enables printing documents stored electronically on paper. It also outlines the functions of the central processing unit (CPU), monitor for output, hard disk for storage, graphics card for processing visuals, motherboard for connecting components, and other peripherals like scanners, cameras, speakers, cabinet and power supply.

THE MOUSE: a
pointing device is used
to facilitate the
handling of a graphical
environment on a
computer.
THE KEYBOARD: a
keyboard is an input
device or peripheral,
partly inspired
keyboard typewriters,
which uses an
arrangement of
buttons or keys, to act
as mechanical levers
or electronic switches
that send information
to the computer.
THE PRINTER: A
printer is a computer
peripheral device that
enables a continuous
range of text or
graphics of documents
stored in an electronic
format on physical
media by printing,
normally on paper
using ink or laser
technology (toner).
CPU: The Central
Processing Unit or CPU
(Central Processing
Unit in Castilian) is the
central part of every
computer because it is
the one that has the
task of processing all
functions as well as
storage of
information.
THE MONITOR:The
computer monitor (in
Spanish) or Computer
(in Spain) is the
primary output device
(interface), showing
data or information to
the user.
HARD DISK: A
storage device
nonvolatile data
(because the stored
contents are not lost
even if it is not
powered) and
employing a magnetic
recording system for
storing digital data.
GRAPHICS CARD: A
video card, also called
graphics card (among
other names) is
responsible for
processing the data
from the main
processor (CPU or
CPU) and turn it into
information that can

MOTHERBOARD:
Motherboard, also
known as a
motherboard or main
board is a printed
circuit board to which
the components
constituting the
computer are
connected.
SCANNER: Used to
scan an image and
sounds, making them
manageable files on
the computer, only a
microphone connected
to the housing of the
same is required.
CAMERA:It is a
small digital camera
connected to a
computer which can
capture images and
transmit them via the
Internet, either a
Web page or to
another computer or
other privately.
SPEAKERS:
Computer speakers or
multimedia speakers
are externalspeakers to
a computer.
GAVINETE: The
Cabinet of a computer,
although not enough, is
one of the most
important elements of
the PC, since its main
task is to stay inside
and keep the various
devices that compose
it.

PODER: It is referring
to the system that
provides the necessary
electricity to power
equipment like
computers or computers.
