2. Parallel
First, you will need to find the slope of one line. To find the slope figure out
the distance it takes line takes to reach one (as a coordinate) on the x-axis.
To find this put the number of squares up on the y-axis over one (one on x-
axis).
Second, you repeat the first step with the other line
Third, to see if they are parallel your slope will be the exact same.

3. Perpendicular
First, you need to fond the slope of one line. To find the slope figure out the
distance it takes line takes to reach one (as a coordinate) on the x-axis. To
find this put the number of squares up on the y-axis over one (one on x-
axis).
Second, repeat step one with the other line.
Third, if the slopes are opposite of each other (one is negative and the other
is not) then they are perpendicular (y-intercept does not matter because
only the slope matters.

4. Neither
First, look at the lines if they are obviously not parallel or perpendicular then
they are neither.
Second, if step one does not determine it then find the slopes and determine
if the lines are not parallel or perpendicular.
