5. Why should we have a standard for packaging ?
• Ensures the package’s safety
• Reduces the loss and damage during the transit
• Reduces the number of return products
• Creates good customer’s impression

6. Impact of wrong packaging
• Seriously impacts the product quality (deformation, defective, etc.)
• The seller will not be compensated if there is any damage during shipment
• Receives negative feedback from the customer about the product quality, reduces operational performance, rating
etc
Important points while packing -
• Do not use combined, old or used packaging material or packaging material from other e-commerce platforms
• Print all the documents from the seller panel: Packing slip & invoice to be stuck on the outside or in the
pod/invoice pouch, user manuals, warranty paper and other materials (if any) inside the shipment
• Do not stick advertising documents, especially other ecommerce platforms, inside or outside the parcel

7. What is good packaging ?
• Paytm Mall carton box
• The seller’s logo or website, or the address of
seller’s own store is not allowed
• Carton box from other competitors (Amazon, Flipkart,
Shopclues)
• Used or Damaged box as the outside package
• Leaflets, visiting cards, or vouchers of the seller’s own
store

8. How to paste the packing slip?
• Each shipment should have only one packing slip
• Paste the pack slip securely on the top surface of the
shipment box as this will help in keeping the shipment in an
upright position as much as possible during transit
• Two packing slips on the shipment
• Dimmed, unclear packing slip
• Do not fold the AWB number slip

9. How to attach the Invoice?
Keep the packing slip in the pod
pouch. It should be folded in such a
wa that the Invoice faces the inside

All other products should be individually sealed on the lid with Tape
All products should be shrink wrapped
