Introduction
Full Name was Thyagaraja Paramasiva
Kailasam (1884–1946)
He was a playwright and prominent writer of
Kannada literature.
His contribution to Kannada theatre comedy
earned him the title Prahasana Prapitamaha,
"the father of humorous plays“
he was also called as "Kannadakke Obbane
Kailasam" meaning "One and Only Kailasam for
Kannada"
‘The Purpose’
‘The Purpose’
It is written by T.P.kailasam
This is a myth.
The ‘MAHABHARATA’ in use
to story in Eklvaya or Arjuna or
Guru Drona’s .
Main Character of the play is
ARJUNA and EKLAVYA.
In the play Arjuna and Eklavya both
wants to became best archer.
Arjuna was prince of the Hastinapur.
Eklavya was a Nishaada boy.
Guru Dronacharya was best teacher of
archery.
Guru Dronacharya deny Eklavya
because he give promise to Arjuna that
he became best archer in the world.

Eklavya was fast learner
and best Archery than
Arjuna.
When guru Dronacharya
refuse him to taught archery
that time he decide to self
learning archery and he take
a inspiration from the statue
of Dronacharya.

He was a slow learner.
He is a prince of
Hastinapur guru
Dronacharya taught him
archery.

archer
because he
wants to
save
innocent
animals.

Mahabharata.

made Victim for Learning
archery. Straggle for

was easily learning to
archery.

Some Other Purpose that in Play
After Some times Arjuna learn archery
from Guru Dronacharya.
Eklavya self learn archery.
But Eklavya was better than Arjuna.
When Arjuna saw this he is not accept
it and he complaint to his Gurujee
Eklavya don’t want it that’s why he give
his Right thumb to Gurujee
 Arjuna and Eklavya’s purpose are
Sutiable for their character.
 T.P. kailasam’s purpose that he want to
high light the character of Eklavya.
 So T.P.kailasam’s the play ‘The purpose’
is appropriate.
 Because in the play we can see the
purpose of Eklavya, Arjuna and
T.P.kailasam’s also.

  • 2. Introduction Full Name was Thyagaraja Paramasiva Kailasam (1884–1946) He was a playwright and prominent writer of Kannada literature. His contribution to Kannada theatre comedy earned him the title Prahasana Prapitamaha, "the father of humorous plays“ he was also called as "Kannadakke Obbane Kailasam" meaning "One and Only Kailasam for Kannada"
  • 3. ‘The Purpose’ ‘The Purpose’ It is written by T.P.kailasam This is a myth. The ‘MAHABHARATA’ in use to story in Eklvaya or Arjuna or Guru Drona’s . Main Character of the play is ARJUNA and EKLAVYA.
  • 4. In the play Arjuna and Eklavya both wants to became best archer. Arjuna was prince of the Hastinapur. Eklavya was a Nishaada boy. Guru Dronacharya was best teacher of archery. Guru Dronacharya deny Eklavya because he give promise to Arjuna that he became best archer in the world.
  • 5. Eklavya Eklavya was fast learner and best Archery than Arjuna. When guru Dronacharya refuse him to taught archery that time he decide to self learning archery and he take a inspiration from the statue of Dronacharya.
  • 6. Arjuna He was a slow learner. He is a prince of Hastinapur guru Dronacharya taught him archery.
  • 7. Purpose of learning archery Eklavya wants to became best archer because he wants to save innocent animals. Arjuna wants to became best archer because he to participant in to war. T.P. Kailsam Main purpose was Eklavya was greater Archer than Arjana. Different to Math of Mahabharata.
  • 8. • Eklavya wants to became Colonial family. So He made Victim for Learning archery. Straggle for learning to archery. Eklavya • Arjuna wants to became Rich and Prince Family. He was easily learning to archery. Arjuna Some Other Purpose that in Play
  • 9. After Some times Arjuna learn archery from Guru Dronacharya. Eklavya self learn archery. But Eklavya was better than Arjuna. When Arjuna saw this he is not accept it and he complaint to his Gurujee Eklavya don’t want it that’s why he give his Right thumb to Gurujee

  • 11.  Arjuna and Eklavya’s purpose are Sutiable for their character.  T.P. kailasam’s purpose that he want to high light the character of Eklavya.  So T.P.kailasam’s the play ‘The purpose’ is appropriate.  Because in the play we can see the purpose of Eklavya, Arjuna and T.P.kailasam’s also.
