Introduction of writer 
• The purpose was written by 
T.P Kailasam 
• He was born on 1884 
• He was died on 1946 
• He was playwright of 
kannada literature
Character of Eklavya 
• He was son of Vyatraj Hiranyadhanus 
• He was a young prince of the Nishadha 
• Eklavya aspire to study archery in the Gurukul 
of Guru Dronacharya 
• The greatest know teaches in the use of 
weaponry and martial art knowledge at the 
time 
• Eklavya sincerely sought the mentorship of 
Drona in the weaponry and martial art
• However since Eklavya belonged to the lower 
castes he was denied access to Drona’s 
mentorship but because Eklavya was self 
motivated and was determined to learn from 
Drona 
• => Self training 
Self study over many years eventually Eklavya 
become on archer of exception prowess , 
greater than Drona’s best pupil
Character of Arjuna 
• Arjuna is the third of the Pandva brothers 
• Arjuna was born in Royal family of 
Hastinapura 
• Drona’s favorite and most accomplished pupil 
he become a master in using the bow and 
arrow
Comparative of Arjuna and Eklavya 
• Both are good archer 
• Arjuna is Kshatariya 
• Eklavya is belonged to lower cast 
• Arjuna is leaning from to Drona 
• Eklavya is self leaning 
• (his also leaning to Drona , he is the tree and 
watching , observing, leaning)
At the end 
• The prince Arjuna uses the power forces Guru 
• Drona and Eklavya 
• Eklavya cuts his thumb 
• The situation is as well as no change in the 
end Eklavya still wretched power wins . We 
feel sympathy for Eklavya’s character
