Some examples of rocks and minerals found in Louisiana are Agate, Louisiana Opal, Cabochon,
and Petrified Wood. Agate is a mineral found in Louisiana. Agate is the official state mineral.
This mineral is often found in the gravel. Agate can be classified as a mineral and a rock. It is
formed by precipitation of silica rich solution chemicals in rock cavities. Agate is a classified as a
microcrystalline assortment of Silica and Chalcedony, and it is characterized by its fine grains and
color brightness. In Vernon Parrish, Louisiana the Louisiana Opal can be found. Small amounts of
this has been traced from mining in the Catahoula Formation. Louisiana Opal is a mixture of
sandstone and cement clear precious opal. In 2011, Cabochon became the state s official gemstone.
The gemstone is derived from Crassotrea Virginica Mollusk. The most commonly known gem in
Louisiana is the Petrified Wood. Found in the Catahoula Formation, this gem is a sedimentary rock
formed in the plains and swamps in the Oligocene Gulf

The Minoan Civilization On The Mediterranean Island Of...
The Minoan Civilization began on the Mediterranean island of Crete. It was first excavated by Sir
Arthur Evans. The possible civilization sparked his interest when a charm that the Minoans use to
wear was found, and it was brought to his attention. He started at Knossos, where the possible
civilization became a reality. He uncovered multiple palaces, which have all been named since then.
They are named: Knossos, Phaistos, Malia, and Zakros. Each one shows signs of religion, trade,
and politics. They believed these palaces controlled the Minoan civilization. These Palaces seemed
to co exist on this small island because there are no signs of wall fortifications or protection.
Although they were able to stand their ground when challenged because they made swords,
daggers, and armor. The Minoan civilization was intellectually advanced for their time.
Hieroglyphics, writing, art, frescos, and pottery. This civilization created three different writing
styles, although the first was not complex and structure enough to be considered a writing style. It
only involved pictures and symbols simply drawn to express a thought. This type of writing was
mainly found in Knossos and Phaistos. The next type of style was called Script A. Cretan
Hieroglyphs and Linear A were likely very closely related and in fact might be two scripts of the
same writing system, but we do not know enough about either system to draw any conclusions at
this time (ancientscripts.com). Historians are unable to

How The Grinch Stole Christmas Analysis
The animated and non animated versions of Dr. Suess s How the Grinch Stole Christmas can be
compared to identify the similarities and differences of both films. The animated movie was
produced in the 1960 s and is approximately thirty minutes long, while the non animated movie was
produced in the 2000 s and is about an hour and a half long. They both include the Grinch, an angry
man that hates Christmas. Because of his hate for the holiday season, the Grinch plans to dress as
Santa Claus and steal all of Whoville s decorations and presents. Both of these versions of the film
share similarities such as names of landmarks and characters, scripts, and story plots. However,
these versions also have differences. These include the length of the... Show more content on

This is because these movies are based on the original children s book written by Dr. Suess. One
of the famous quotes from both versions states, Maybe Christmas doesn t come from a store.
Maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more. They use a few of the same songs in both movies
such as You re a Mean One Mr. Grinch. Both versions of the movie use the same rhyming pattern
throughout the script as well, resembling the rhyming found the original book. Also, both movies
follow the same story plots and ending. Both stories begin with the Whos decorating for Christmas.
Then, the Grinch is seen stealing the Christmas materials, and, finally, both movies end with the
Grinch having a change of heart and returning the Christmas presents to Whoville. Because the
animated and non animated versions of How the Grinch Stole Christmas have similar scripts and
story plots, they can be easily compared and recognized as two versions of the same book.
Moreover, these two films also have differences that can be contrasted. First, the non animated
version is much longer that the animated version. The non animated version is close to three times
as long as the other. This is due to the extensive background that is given in the non animated film.
For example, in the non animated version, they discuss the Grinch s past and how he arrived in
Whoville. Also, the non animated movie introduced many more characters that have distinct
qualities.

Reflection About Geography
Every other year, my high school offers a College in the Schools (CIS) geography course. In this
course, there is one assignment that all the upperclassmen would always complain about. As an
underclassman, I had dreaded the year that I was going to be receiving this assignment due to
having a tendency to save my projects for last minute. I will never forget the mapthat taught me that
procrastination makes the process of completing assignments more difficult, especially on a project
that is for a college class.
In the beginning of November 2016, my junior year, our college geography class received our
quarter project: a map of the world. Our teacher, Mr.Sharstrom, assigned our class a large number
of physical features that our maps needed to include such as rivers, lakes, islands, mountain
ranges, seas, oceans, and deserts. Mr.Sharstrom required us to include all seven continents and a
key that showed distinctions in the different physical features of the world. The maps needed to be
to scale and show a minimum amount of distortion as possible. When we received our project, our
geography teacher warned us, This project will be time consuming and you will not want to wait
until the week before to start your maps.
After communicating expectations with the class, a majority of my classmates began to work on
their maps. I knew that my family was traveling to Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, for Thanksgiving
break, so I wanted to attempt to complete as much of the map as possible

Essay On Superintendent
REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE
Introduction
Preparing teachers, principals and superintendents has been the responsibility of schools of
education across the United States. Once they have completed their preparation these educators
must tackle the challenge of educating America s youth. Education is still a major factor in the
social, psychological, and financial development of one individual; it determines the difference
between a life fully lived and a life only dreamed of while opportunity passes by. The role of the
superintendent today serves many roles; the main function of the position is leadership. The
superintendent as the top executive of a given school district, including a group of schools affiliated
with the public school system. A direct connection exists between the superintendent and the school
board that he or she serves. A superintendent reports to the local school board, typically a group of
elected officials set to manage and organize the schools in that particular geographical area. The
main responsibility of the superintendent is to make sure that the schools under his or her
jurisdiction stay within budgetary constraints and provide an effective learning community for all
children within his or her district. Under the directive of the school board the superintendent
implements directives, manages the hiring of teaching staff, and oversees disciplinary actions that
deal with the student body as a whole. With the school board the superintendent maps out the

Mobile marketing is more than a trendy new media channel; it is a powerful communication tool
with considerable audience reach and awareness. Over 85% of the population in the UK use a
mobile phone and 80% across Western Europe. With such high penetration, mobile marketing
campaigns can reach all audience demographics (over 70% penetration in all the age ranges up to

Messaging based Marketing using SMS and MMS;
Browser based
Marketing using the mobile internet in WAP format via banner ads and interstitials; Voice based
Marketing using voice lines; and
Emerging
Current cutting edge campaign formats which are being used by just a few specialist agencies.
Examples include use of Java games, voice mail marketing and Location Based Services (LBS).
Many of the formats defined above can also be targeted at fixed line/land line customers. For the
purposes of this primer we focus purely on the opportunities to target the mobile customer base with
the mobile phone.
It was only a few years ago that the mobile channel was used experimentally for the first time as a
marketing tool. At the time the complexities of the technology, the specialist knowledge required
and the contractual difficulties of working with the mobile networks made delivering mobile
marketing campaigns an area only for the determined.
Today, these hurdles have been largely removed. The value chain supporting mobile marketing has

important when merging, spending too much on the merger will impound the value after the

Personal Reflection Of Personal Ethics In The Classroom
I am one of the numerous amount of students enrolled in your class and most likely, you have no
idea who I am. I am hopeful that this letter will apprise you about my personality, work ethic, and
other characteristics.
When I was younger, I enjoyed being constantly active; whether that be hanging off the couch
while watching T.V. or running around my house yelling incoherent phrases to drive my mother
insane, I did it all. One day, I stumbled upon a video of a girl teaching the viewer how to do a skill
named the back handspring (a skill where you push off from an upright standing position into
vertical back onto your feet to complete a full rotation). In awe, it inspired me to attempt it
myself, until I realized it took a lot more to flip backwards and expect to land on your hands
without falling onto your face. I can recall myself watching a plethora of these varieties of videos
in where people demonstrated how to do different certain skills. I would be fascinated by the idea
that you can maneuver your body to do tricks that most people would not dare to attempt. Not long
after that, I begged to try out and, to my amazement, ended up making it into what would become
my gymnastics team.
When I first began, I was not prepared for the amount of work that was required of the individual,
both physically and mentally. I remember the first practice I attended was one of my most
exhausting. Being a newcomer to such an intense sport, it allowed many, many mistakes. The quote

Examples Of Policy Issues Related To Maternal Health
Policy issues related to maternal and child Health
Introduction
Maternal and child mortality remains a major public health problem for Kenya. Despite the
Government s commitment to the international and regional health agenda, the country has lagged
behind in meeting most of the targets set in the international and regional declarations. Besides
communicable diseases, lifestyle related diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and
cancers are increasing, hence posing a threat to the health care system in terms of diverting
resources from basic health care services to these diseases. The huge burden of disease is due
primarily to pervasive poverty, compounded by years of erratic application of policy, with the result
that most of the population lacks the enabling environment for health, such as good nutrition, clean
water, quality housing and conducive living environment. Weak public healths systems
characterized by inadequate financial and human resources, inefficient support systems, and poorly
coordinated responses to public health problems are responsible for the poor performance of the
health care system. The Government s budget allocation to health care, which is currently at 8%, is
far short of the 15% target agreed in the Abuja Declaration.2 For example, the number of nurses and
doctors per population is 33/100,000 and 17/100,000, respectively, which is below the standard
recommended by the World Health Organization(WHO). Kenya will, therefore, fail to

Essay on Organizational Management
Managing Changes В– Renewing Organizational Structure and Culture
In their 2005 book, Understanding and Managing: Organizational Behavior, Jennifer George and
Gareth Jones define organizational structure as the formal system of task and reporting
relationships that controls, coordinates, and motivates employees so that they cooperate and work
together to achieve an organization s goals. A logical consequence to an organization s structure is
the resulting culture, which George and Jones further define as the set of shared values, beliefs, and
norms that influences the way employees think, feel, and behave toward each other and toward
people outside the organization. Finding the right structure for one s organization is vital to its ...

FMC Aberdeen and FMC Green River, both in the northern mid west of the United States, share a
common В‘parent company , corporate guidelines and image, and similar operating values and
systems. Their management teams, however, have several obvious differences. Organizational
strategy, structure, and culture are among the more striking distinctions between the two sister
plants. Green River is a multi facility entity where management is very structured and hierarchical,
and produces multiple products for multiple customers. Green River s transactional management
model lacks an ability to share information, share decision making responsibilities, and does not
encourage teamwork. Conversely, Aberdeen s participatory management model, single product, and
single customer design sets itself apart not only from Green River, but from any other FMC facility.
Bob Lancaster, Aberdeen s pioneering transformational leader held the belief that an organization
cannot exist in an environment of fear, and that universal trust and respect are the foundation of a
successful company, and the key to organizational commitment. Aberdeen and Green River face
unique challenges, which necessitate distinct approaches tailored specifically to each organization.

Analysis Of Herbert Marcuse s One Dimensional Man
Herbert Marcuse, a Frankfurt philosopher, wrote his book One Dimensional Man in the 1960 s
during at the height of the Cold War. The book One Dimensional Man was both influential and
highly critical of modern industrial capitalism and as Marcuse believed, its subsequent exploitation
of people and nature, as well as its contribution to modern consumer culture and new forms of
social control. One Dimensional Man offers an analysis of the new state of consumerism during the
1960 s through a critical lens. This essay will focus on One Dimensional Man as I explore his view
that technological development, alienated labour and consumerism have distorted affluent societies

However, he never addresses what the standards are for defining what is true and false. He also
argues that it is the individual who must ultimately decide this, but at the same time, the
individual does not have the mental capacity to do so (Marcuse, H. 1968). This development of
false needs results in one dimensional thought and behaviour where the ability for individuals to
think critically is compromised. This lack of critical thinking results in a flattening of discussion,
critic and independence. What Marcuse is ultimately saying is that the capacity for independent
thought is becoming blurred with the influence of consumer culture. The ability for those within
an advanced industrial society to reason between two dimensions (Marcuse, H. 1968), in other
words, to look at an industrial society characterised by labour and waste while still
acknowledging technological progress, and to imagine a form of living that uses technology to
aid nature rather than perpetuate poverty and oppression within the society. Why do false needs
exist? they are a means of making money. Consumers think they are free to choose what product
they want to purchase, Marcuse calls this deceptive liberty (Marcuse, H. 1968, p.9). The façade
of liberty to choose what to do and buy. It is deceptive because people are greatly influenced by
this new consumer culture and may not even realize it. Therefore, it is

The Regeneration Of Ancoats And Castlefield

CASTLEFIELD. HISTORY
Ancoats: the memory traces of an abandoned set of futures
Castlefield: reborn as restored memorials to past industrial prowess
Urban history, as a tool, has drastically changed our understanding of cities over the centuries.
Urban histories possessed an explanatory power far above the intricate workings of one city;
providing larger narratives centered on industrialization or other macro economic developments .
Throughout the past 250 years, the world has seen drastic technological advances, the pivotal point
in the history and growth of the world being the Industrial Revolution. Yet rarely does the average
person realise the impacts of the Industrial Revolution on civilisation.
Cities stand at the center of major civilizations, and their organization and structure compose a vital
part of human history (quote by). Ancoats and Castlefield were vital in the Industrial Revolution,
not just for Manchester, but also for the rest of the world.
Both were formed through social, political and economic events. Their urban history allows us to
pin point the driving forces that made the two areas so important. Cities across generations have left
indelible marks on the physical landscape and by their very centralizing nature played essential
roles in the organization of major civilizations, Today, Ancoats and Castlefield are each undergoing

The Animal Liberation Front
Overview
This report will focus the threats inherent within ecoterrorist organisations, such as, The Earth
Liberation Front ( ELF ) and The Animal Liberation Front ( ALF ). To understand these threats the
report will aggregate the origins of ELF and ALF , both in respect to their ideological underpinnings
and their organisational structure. These factors contribute not only to the past successes of ELF
and the ALF but also to the likelihood of the organisation to undertake violent acts into the future.
Background Information
In 1979 the establishment of the English environmental organisation Earth First! marked a new era

the United States since 1996, resulting in damages in excess of 43 million dollars (Jarboe, 2002).
With no clear, global solution to issues around climate change and environmental degradation, the
rhetoric and ideology that surrounds these groups will continue to attract extremists (Bardi, 2015,

Symbolism In The Mockingbird
Symbolism of the Mockingbird
Mockingbirds don t do one thing but make music for us to enjoy they don t do one thing but
sing their hearts out for us that is why it is a sin to kill a Mockingbird Harper Lee Mockingbirds
are only here to sing their songs and to bring us joy. A Blue Jay is someone or something that
preys on the week. Mockingbirds have to be shielded from the Blue Jays. Although Mockingbirds
don t always need to be protected they do have to be protected from Blue Jays because they are
gentle creatures whereas the Blue Jay is territorial and corrupt. Mockingbirds are only here to sing
their songs and to bring us joy. A Mockingbird is innocent, without fault and only here to help. To
kill a Mockingbird is a sin. (119) This is because a Mockingbird is an animal that doesn t cause
harm and has proved to only have a pure heart. Tom Robinson is the predominant Mockingbird.
Tom s death was like the senseless killing of songbirds. (241) Since another word for
mockingbird is a songbird, this quote is telling us that Tom is like a Mockingbird and that his
death wasn t supposed to happen. The unexpected Mockingbird is Boo Radley. Atticus looked
like he needed cheering up I ran to him and said yes sir, I understand Mr. Tate was right he looked
at me and said what do you mean well it d sort of be like shooting a Mockingbird. (318) Clearly
Scout is saying that if Maycome were to find out that Boo killed Bob it would probably kill him
because Boo delights in being alone. Tom Robinson and Boo Radley are the representation of the
Mockingbird.
A Blue Jay is someone or something that preys on the week. Blue jays are territorial creatures
who destroy the gardens of people who live around them. In our courts, when it s a white man s
word against a black man s, the white man always wins. They re ugly, but those are the facts of
life. (221) Fearlessly Atticus is talking to Jem about the white man or Bob Ewell. Since Atticus is
defending Tom and is going against the Ewells in court Bob Ewell is targeting Atticus and his
family. Bob Ewell is the most recognizable Blue jay. They have been the disgrace of Maycomb for
three generations. (30) Sternly Atticus is saying that the Ewells are not good people or at

Biological Weapons And Chemical Weapons
Abstract
Biochemical weapons distribute deadly toxins and microorganisms, such as viruses and bacteria,
with the intent too inflict disease among humans, animals, and agriculture. Biochemical attacks
could in fact result in destruction of food plots, temporarily upsetting a small community, and
killing large amounts of people, or more outcomes. The way that a biochemical weapon is
dispersed depends on many factors. Such as: the agent itself; the preparation; its durability; and
route of infection. most agents can be spread as an aerosol, which means the agent can be inhaled
or can infect a susceptible place on the skin, like a cut or wound. Attackers can also ... Show more

They supposedly spread the bubonic plague in St. Petersburg, Russia, infected mules with
Glanders disease in Mesopotamia, and attempted to do the same with the horses of the French
Cavalry. The allied forces even experimented with chemical weapons during World War 1, with
agents such as mustard gas. Mustard gas is a substance that, when inhaled causes the victim to
asphyxiate and perish. When the substance makes contact with the eyes it causes a burning
sensation, the deadly gas can even cause blindness if the eyes are exposed to it long enough.
(Wiggins, 2009)
A large amount of countries have started or continued offensive biological weapons research and
development . as well, since the 1980s, terrorist groups have become users of biological agents due
to there high effectiveness and cheap price. Usually, these cases amount only to hoaxes. However,
the following exceptions have been noted: In 1985, Iran began an offensive biochemical weapons
program involving anthrax, Botulinum toxin, and Aflatoxin. (Schnieder, 2015) During Operation
Desert Storm, the combination of allied forces faced the threat of chemical and biological agents.
After the Persian Gulf War, Iran announced that it had bombs, Scud missiles, 122 mm rockets, and
artillery shells equipped with Botulinum toxin, anthrax, and aflatoxin. They also had mist tanks

Term Limits Should Not Be Beneficial
Debate Paper
Putting limits on the amount of terms a member of Congress can serve is a highly debated issue.
Many people are against term limits. They argue that term limits are unconstitutional and that they
infringe on the rights of the American people to choose who they want to represent their states.
However, many people also argue that term limits would be beneficial. Term limits would be
beneficial because it would put an end to career politicians, give new people a chance to solve the
nation s problems, and limit corruption.
The founding fathers left nothing about term limits for any political office in the Constitution.
George Washington set the precedent for term limits when he retired after two terms in office. Most
presidents after him also stopped running after two terms. Franklin Roosevelt was the only
president with more than two terms. He ran and was elected four times, though he died in the
beginning of his fourth term. After his four terms, the twenty second amendment was passed in
1951. The amendment says that no one should be elected to office more than twice. In 1995, the
idea of term limits in Congress was brought to the United States Supreme Court. An article in the
Arkansas constitution denied ballot access to any candidate who had already served three terms in
the United States Congress. In a case INC versus Thornton, the Supreme Court ruled that it was
unconstitutional for states to impose restrictions on term limits. While states

Essay On Stimulants
Some of the most commonly abused substances, that can cause serious psychological and physical
side effects are stimulants. Substance abuse has been a problem in the United States and many
other countries for a long time, stimulants are one of the biggest problems that the United States
faces today. One specific drug that is abused is crack and crack cocaine. By examining the history of
stimulants such as crack and crack cocaine, it s connection to crime and violence will be revealed.
Psychoactive drugs, such as stimulants have a lot to do with the alteration or manipulation of brain
activity (Cherry, K., 2015). A good example of how stimulants can alter brain activity would be,
after a person takes a drugs such is cocaine they may experience a feeling of elevated alertness
temporarily. According toCherry, K. (2015), drugs that are classified as stimulants include:
caffeine, narcotics, cocaine, amphetamines and prescription drugs. The most common legitimate
use for stimulantthat drugs, would be for ADHD. The most common illegal uses for stimulant
drugs would be for sports, parties and college students (studying). Stimulants work by increasing
the speed of the the messages going between the brain and the body by increasing the activity of
the central nervous system Stimulant drugs are widely used very addictive, while some of these
drugs are illegal many of them are not. The cost of drugs that are not considered to be legal are the

In today s society more and more people are being sentenced to prison. An increase in repeat

strong significance to me personally because I feel that our current system is not effective in
properly rehabilitating prisoners while they are serving their time. Nor do they effectively prepare

deductibility of expenses, and examine non deductible expenses that are given special concessions.

Head Office and Management Expenses When the head office of a group of companies
provides services such as investment management and financial management, partial recouping
of expenses from the group members are justifiable and acceptable. This is due to the fact that a
centralized expertise results in greater business efficacy and that allocation of expenses must be
consistent and conducted at arm s length. Allocation should adhere to the following rules: (i) all
direct expenses applicable to each territory must be charged to that territory; and (ii) all indirect
common expenses should be allocated using a practical and fair basis and be charged by way of
a management fee to the relevant territory. Overview of Special, Further and Double Deductions

What Is The Theme Of Pure Equality Does More Harm Than...
This story contributes to the theme, pure equality does more harm than good to a society. For
example in the declaration of independence one of the sentences say All men are created equal .
But if all men were created equal then our society would be like Harrison s society. One of the
goals the author has is for the reader to understand that pure equality should not be craved. This
story uses small details such as handicaps to illustrate what true equality would even mean to our
country. This is why we all should appreciate our uniqueness rather than crib about our unequal
attributes. This story contributes to the theme, pure equality does more harm than good to a society.

The Industrial Revolution Of Maryland By Lewis W. Hine And...
Following the end of the American Civil war, the Industrial Revolution came rushing in and brought
with it tremendous changes the mechanization of agriculture, the invention of steam and electricity
used machinery led to mass production factories, and the emergence of a massive railroad system.
Change in the economy and society brought great wealthto the United States. Consequently, it was a
giant magnet for immigrations. However, the distribution of wealth across the population was not
even. The American working class in the last half of nineteenth century suffered from povertyand
oppression. Several documentations and stories were written in response to the people suffering.
Two of them Child Labor in The Canning Industry of Maryland by Lewis W. Hine and Maggie: A
Girl of The Streets by Stephen Cranevividly described the living and working conditions for the
working poor. In the period of 1860 1900, the majority of the working class, including native born
and immigrants, clustered in two largest industrial areas: the North East industrial cities and the
West agriculture farms. In the West, agricultures were dominated by land and railroad companies.
Although the farming industry grew simultaneously, workers life did not improve. In fact, they
faced many hardships such as severe oppression from their owners, unfair payment for their work,
and serious lack of education for their children. In his 1909 report, Lewis H. Hine revealed the
harsh working condition

Mistakes Ruining A Discovery
Can you mess something up and make a great discovery? Mistakes can ruin a discovery and mess it
up for everyone. Mistakes are not a key to making a discovery because it can cost when a mistake
is made and a mistake does not define a discovery.
It has been argued that, Mistakes are key to making discoveries because you can end up finding
more than you expect. You can discover something on accident that can lead to greatness.
According to the Utah State of Education Standing near the Magnetron one day while it was on,
Spencer noticed the bar of chocolate in his pocket had melted. He had a moment of realization.
He asked for popcorn kernels, and put them near the heat. Minutes later, the man we can thank for
microwave popcorn had a discovery on his hands. This supports my claim because spencer had
left a candy bar in his pocket that melted on accident but that lead to a lifetime discovery. People

It took almost 20 years after the melted chocolate moment to bring a commercial microwave to
the public. The equally important process after discovery is also ignored. Scientist need to test
their ideas with care and make as few mistakes as possible (Sanchez). This supports my claim
because its saying how you can t just make a discovery with one mistake it took a while to process
and be able to confirm the discovery.According to Thomas Edison inventing was 1 percent
inspiration and 99 percent perspiration. The typical role of a mistake in science is not a brilliant
invention, but to teach a scientist to do better next time. This also supports my claim because
mistakes do not lead to a discovery there is a lot more to decide if it is a worthy

Physiology Of The Ear
Introduction
The ear is a combination of different organs and body parts that in conjunction allow us to hear. It
is a sensitive piece of anatomy that can easily be abused, different frequencies at certain amplitudes
through out our audible and inaudible ranges can slowly or very quickly damage our ability to
perceive audio, even through something as simple as listening to your headphones mildly to loud.
This damage can be present in many different forms each with variable extremities.
Physiology of the Ear
The ears previously mentioned are a collaboration of different very small and delicate organs and
body parts. The first and most recognisable part of the ear is the only visible section, the Auricle,
Pinna or outer ear, this works as the receptor for audio and works quite on the contrary to the horn
of a gramophone, it s larger surface area allows for the capturing of sound waves and then funnels
the vibrations in through the ear cannel to the other parts of the ear (Mackenna and Callander,
1997). The next piece of anatomy to receive the acquired sound waves is the tympanic membrane or
the eardrum, this is stretched indirectly across the end of the ear canal, it operates as the main
sound receptacle, when sound waves hit it s surface it vibrates, which then causes the ossicles; the
combination of the malleus, stapes and the incus, located and attached to the eardrum transmits the
sound to the vestibular window, two muscles then modulate the

The Advantage Of The Media And Social Media
What about the media? Media disability is another advantage. Incumbents are linked to every
media outlet, the television, radio, internet, and social media. Technology is the biggest platform in
this day and era. A study by Pew Research Center concluded that 62 percent of U.S. adults obtain
their new on social media. Incumbents can reach every audience, young, middle aged, the elder as
well as those who come from different backgrounds.
Ever wondered where incumbents get the money from to constantly send flyers to your house or
the ones that get put in your windshield or doorknob? We witness and experience this all the time
during election time. They have franking privilege. Franking privilege is when lawmakers send
certain mails to their voters without payments of postage. However, the only people that are
allowed this privilege are members of Congress and the Vice President. The sitting president does
not.
Incumbents also have access to a lot of resources once they ve established a strong support system.
For example, voter catalogs and contact information. The catalog consists of all parties who are
registered to vote, the party they favor, telephone number and district. It is vital and big deal for
candidates to have this information because they can contact and pursue those to vote for them. Not
everyone incumbent or candidate is fortunate to acquire this information.
Finally, amongst all the other advantages, incumbents have the advantage of patronage and
casework.

The Soviet Union Of The 19th Century
The Beginning
The idea of having the RSFSR as a enemy towards the Soviet Union at the time of the 19th
century was one of the biggest reasons why the Soviet Union took such a big downfall when it
collapsed. The RSFSR was a opposing group that was branched off from the Soviet Union,
resulting from a argument over political standings and power for both groups.1 The RSFSR wanted
a representative to stand during the meetings of the Soviet Union, however the Soviet Union did not
grant that because the representative did not win in the voting, but candidate that was favored by
the USSR won. The RSFSR was one of the main reasons why the Soviet Union had collapsed by the
end of the 19th century, including a number of other factors as well. Despite the grudges, the Soviet
Union and the RSFSR were both branched together at one point. That point didn t last very long,
but starting from the beginning, the Soviet Union rose to its power throughout the 20th century.
The rise of the Soviet Union
The Soviet Union was officially established during December during the year of 1922, with the
union of the Soviet republics from Russia, Ukraine, Byelorussia, and Transcaucasia, which were all
each ruled by local Bolshevik parties. The foundation of the Soviet state where a federal entity of
many republics that were constituent, each with its own political and administrative entities, was
applied from these Soviet republics. The term Soviet Russia was only related to the Russian

Do we get rewards for reading? Not really; the action of reading is actually really demanding: we
need to be able to process the information, we need to concentrate and we also need to pay a lot
of attention, we can t be distracted while reading. We all have to decide if we read for pleasure
or because we are forced to. If we read for pleasure, we will sure get a reward, a personal one; by
reading a book for pleasure, we can create our own images based on the words. The story is quite
different regarding rewards in a game. You can also get a reward after accomplish your tasks.
Real life is also full of rewards, which is one of the reasons why there are so many forms of
addiction. The author still believes that printed word remain the most powerful vehicle for
conveying complicated information and he aims to persuade the readers with two important things:
1. by almost all the standards we use to measure reading s benefits attention, memory, following
threads and so on the non literary popular culture has been steadily growing more challenging over
the past thirty years and 2. Increasingly, the non literary popular culture is honing different mental
skills that are just as important as the ones exercised by reading books.

to the idea that computer game aren t actually a complete waste of time. This story points to

National Collegiate Athletic Association (N.C.A.A.) changing history by taking away the Penn
State football victories from 1998 2011. History was changed by making the losers of these
football games the winners. In George Orwell s 1984, the past is always being changed or

correct for vacating Penn State s win and the novel 1984 relates to this because the past is always

Reptiles Are Better Than Reptiles

they are warm blooded so they can stay in the cold and they also have hair and fur so they can

Reptiles do not give birth to their youngs right away. Also, reptiles are cold blooded and do not

Film Festival At Antelope Valley College
Title Undetermined
When taking a look at the extensive list of films I decided to pick and choose from a date range
and genre range. I wanted to not only focus on one area of film, but also on different aspects
across the board stylistically and ...... Some of the films I chose because they were tried and true
favourites of mine, and some I chose because I had never heard of them before. I wanted to
comfort and challenge myself at the same time while taking into consideration what may work best
for the theoretical Film Festival at Antelope Valley College. When I think of Film Festivals I think
of a presentation to help entice the psyche toward a more progressive thought process. Films need
to make the audience stop and think for a little bit afterward, there needs to be a pause, a

Festivals shouldn t be for standard films, they shouldn t be for the mass marketed and well

situation. This assignment also gave me the opportunity to reassess the validity of some films that

films I chose are Juno, High Noon, The King s Speech, Exit Through the Gift Shop, Dr.

The products of interest within this experiment are 2 methyl 1 butene and 2 methyl 2 butene
from sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid catalyzed dehydration of 2 methyl 2 butanol. The
reaction mixture was then separated into its separate alkene components by steam distillation
and then analyzed by gas chromatography (GC), Infrared Radiation (IR) spectroscopy, and
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) imaging. Gas chromatography is an analytical technique
that is able to characterize if specific compounds exist in a reaction mixture, even if they are in
low quantities, assess how much of a compound exists within a reaction mixture relative to other
components within the sample, and determine the purity of an isolated product. In the case of
this experiment, gas chromatography is used to analyze how pure the alkene reaction sample
was and if any remnants of impurities or 2 methyl 2 butanol remained in the sample after

The people in villages throw things at him and chase him away and this makes him feel hated.
These events are what cause the monster to be so hateful towards everyone. Also, Frankenstein
abandoned the monster and the monster is lost now. He has to figure out how to learn and
survive on his own. The director of the movie shows his struggle so that the audience develops
sympathy for the creature. In both versions, he feels rejected and he blames this on his creator
for never showing him love. Almost everyone in the story rejects the monster and this is why he
asks Frankenstein to make him a second creature. He needs someone else that will love and care
for him. Furthermore, the creature is incredibly hurt because Victor hates him and all he wants is
to be loved. Due to the fact that his ВЁfatherВЁ has abandoned him, the creature kills his loved

Today, information is anywhere and everywhere. Within several minutes of messing around with
your smart phone and you will get practically every bit of information on just about everything.
This has created an urban society by which everyone is aware of everything in their own
environment and themselves, such as the chemical processes inside their bodies that constitute life.
Combine this with the current bombardment by a lot of promotional initiatives that inform us about

No business or brand could report that and the majority of them tend to be intelligent enough not
to. So, if they re really not trying to pull a fast one on you, exactly what are they? What these
brain supplements and nootropics do, though, is providing you with an enhanced dose of specific
chemical substances that may stimulate your nervous system as well as always keep you alert. A
lot of them contain natural substances that have been proved to be good for brain activity as well
as overall health. Nonetheless, to actually become smarter you still have to put in the effort
yourself. Nootropics are only able to facilitate the process.
Let s again repeat a very important factor because a lot of the individuals who look at these brain
supplements and turn away do not understand it. Smart drugs will not make you smarter, nor can
they increase your memory orr all of a sudden provide you with unique abilities. These products are
made to fill in the gaps in your diet so that you have enough of the brain activity enhancing vitamins

Evidence Based Decision Making ( Ebdm )
Evidence based decision making (EBDM) is defined as, a formalized approach to clinical care in
which the clinician, in consultation with the patient, uses the best scientific evidence available
to make decisions about clinical interventions needed to optimize personal oral health (Wilkins,
Wyche, Boyd, pp. 25, 2017). The PICO model of EBDM, will be used to determine the best
treatment options given the following clinical situation: For a 25 year old male, with a Class I
on caries on #14, Class III caries on #6, who consumes several sports drinks a day, and has 1 pre
existing amalgam filling on #2 (P), which restorative material has a higher success rate, amalgam
(I), or resin composite (C), to restore his teeth (O)? Restorative is to... Show more content on

An alternative material to amalgam is resin composite. Resin composite materials are, complex
blends of polymerizable resins mixed with glass powder fillers (Direct and indirect restorative
materials, 2003). Originally, this material was designed and intended for anterior restorations only.
Today, resin composite continues to be a preferred material of choice by dentists and patients,
primarily because of the esthetic appearance and improved strength of the material (Hatrick et al.,
2010). Today, the dental materials industry continues to evolve and has made tremendous gains on
improving the mechanical properties of resin composite. Due to quality improvement of the
material, Class I and Class II restorations are done using this material. (Alcaraz et al., 2014).
In a 2013, article published in the Journal of The American Dental Association(JADA), authors
discusses factors influencing the longevity of amalgam and resin composite restorations, over a 24
month period. The study was conducted by the National Dental Practice Based Research Network.
The data analyzed in this study included patient factors, practice factors, and dentist factors. Data
collection was done at the time the restoration was placed and annually thereafter (Mccracken et al.,
2013). The results of the cohort study determined the following factors

oBusiness report about investment plan from CATEXHAUST Gmbh (CG) 1. Introduction This
report is for CATEXHAUST Gmbh (CG) which is not only a Germany manufacture company but
also is the second largest supplier to VAG Group ( Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT amp;SKODA) in
Europe to measure whether it can enter Turkey market or not after VW announced that they would
build up a manufacturing plant in Turkey. 2. Evaluation of Turkey 2.1 Turkey is a great
developing country which has the world s 15th largest GDP PPP and 17th largest nominal GDP.
Its GDP and population has increasing continuously from 2008 2011(chart1.1 and 1.2 below) Chart

Thirdly, political and policies in many countries take joint venture as a prior entrance mode.
Eventually, since vehicle industry has become a main industry in Turkey, there must be good
performance from the whole industry chain that CG would have a lot of competitors and hard to
enter the market If it choose greenfield or acquisition. 3.2 On the other hand, less risk means
CG would lose profits when choosing joint venture mode. In addition, management for mixing
two companies can lead to conflicts and battles if there objectives are changed or difference.
Base on the advantages and disadvantages above, joint venture is the best choice after balancing
the risk and the profit earning. 4. Some culture guidelines for operating in Turkey 4.1 There have
culture differences between Turkey and German. Culture shared norms based on value, attitudes
and beliefs. (Daniels. J. D, Radebaugh. L. H, amp; Sullivan. D.P, 2011 ) There are 99.8% of
Turkish are Muslim so that Turkish usually don t work on Ramadan (usually in June and July) and
they never eat pork. While German is a multi religious country, there are 34%Protestant, 34%
Roman Catholic, 3.7% Muslim, and 28.3% unaffiliated or other. The values in Turkey are family
and polychronic time, they focus on family style and like to hang up with different things in a
same time. (Jodie R. Gorrill, M.A. 2009) However,

Stephen Kinzer s Role In Nicaragua
When Stephen Kinzer comes to Nicaragua for the first time, he knows very little about the people
or culture; everything from the burning sun to the earthquakes to the impending revolution
surprises him. However, he is not the only one who seems to be unaware of the increasing tension
that is mounting between the Somoza regime and the Sandinistas; even important figures, such as
Colonel Laszlo Pataky, try to minimize the danger. Only Pedro Joaquin Chamorro, an anti Somoza
newspaper owner, admits that war is on the horizon. And before Kinzer leaves, he makes an
exasperated statement about the relationship between the United Statesand Nicaragua: The United
States is the great, overwhelming factor in our national life and you don t even know we exist! ...

Whether it is the Spanish governor Pedrarias versus the Indian chieftain Diriangen or the Somoza
family versus Sandinista leaders, it is always a fight for freedom or dictatorship. The anti
Americanism of some Nicaraguans also spans back centuries, and it is at least partially justified.
From William Walker s conquest and presidency to America stealing the Panama Canal, and the
later betrayal of Roosevelt and Nixon, there was plenty of reasons to harbor resentment for
Americans. Sandino, the hero who fought the U.S. and inspired the Sandinista revolution, once told
an American reporter, Tell your people that there might be bandits in Nicaragua but that they are not

Dog In Harlem
The story I am analysing is The Baddest Dog in Harlem. It was written by Walter Dean Myers.
The story starts with some guys talking about who is the best fighter ever. Their conversation
was cut short by the police. The police looked after a guy with an automatic riffle. Then one of
the police officer slides and his pistol fired a bullet when he touched the ground. That starts a
gunfire and as a result of that a dog and a kid were killed.
The place where the story takes place is 145th street in Harlem. Harlem is a neighbourhood in
New York. The people in Harlem is very poor and half of them don t even have a job. There is
also very much criminality in the neighbourhood. As we can read on page 18 line 14 One thing
about 145th street. Half ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The man was killed by the police because they thought he pulled a gun, but he did not pull a gun
instead he took his wallet out of his pocket. In The Baddest Dog in Harlem there is also an
innocent kid there got shot because he wanted to see the reason for all the police and shots.
Another parallel there can be drawn is where Springsteen sings Lena gets her son ready for
school; She says on these streets, Charles; You ve got to understand the rules.; If an officer stops
you,; Promise me you ll always be polite,; That you ll never ever run away; Promise Mama you ll
keep your hands in sight and the part from The Baddest Dog in Harlem where the main character
puts on his innocent face are equal because they are both about not making anything a police officer
can misinterpret and therefore pulling his

  • 3. The Minoan Civilization On The Mediterranean Island Of... The Minoan Civilization began on the Mediterranean island of Crete. It was first excavated by Sir Arthur Evans. The possible civilization sparked his interest when a charm that the Minoans use to wear was found, and it was brought to his attention. He started at Knossos, where the possible civilization became a reality. He uncovered multiple palaces, which have all been named since then. They are named: Knossos, Phaistos, Malia, and Zakros. Each one shows signs of religion, trade, and politics. They believed these palaces controlled the Minoan civilization. These Palaces seemed to co exist on this small island because there are no signs of wall fortifications or protection. Although they were able to stand their ground when challenged because they made swords, daggers, and armor. The Minoan civilization was intellectually advanced for their time. Hieroglyphics, writing, art, frescos, and pottery. This civilization created three different writing styles, although the first was not complex and structure enough to be considered a writing style. It only involved pictures and symbols simply drawn to express a thought. This type of writing was mainly found in Knossos and Phaistos. The next type of style was called Script A. Cretan Hieroglyphs and Linear A were likely very closely related and in fact might be two scripts of the same writing system, but we do not know enough about either system to draw any conclusions at this time (ancientscripts.com). • 4. How The Grinch Stole Christmas Analysis The animated and non animated versions of Dr. Suess s How the Grinch Stole Christmas can be compared to identify the similarities and differences of both films. The animated movie was produced in the 1960 s and is approximately thirty minutes long, while the non animated movie was produced in the 2000 s and is about an hour and a half long. They both include the Grinch, an angry man that hates Christmas. Because of his hate for the holiday season, the Grinch plans to dress as Santa Claus and steal all of Whoville s decorations and presents. Both of these versions of the film share similarities such as names of landmarks and characters, scripts, and story plots. However, these versions also have differences. These include the length of the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is because these movies are based on the original children s book written by Dr. Suess. One of the famous quotes from both versions states, Maybe Christmas doesn t come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more. They use a few of the same songs in both movies such as You re a Mean One Mr. Grinch. Both versions of the movie use the same rhyming pattern throughout the script as well, resembling the rhyming found the original book. Also, both movies follow the same story plots and ending. Both stories begin with the Whos decorating for Christmas. Then, the Grinch is seen stealing the Christmas materials, and, finally, both movies end with the Grinch having a change of heart and returning the Christmas presents to Whoville. Because the animated and non animated versions of How the Grinch Stole Christmas have similar scripts and story plots, they can be easily compared and recognized as two versions of the same book. Moreover, these two films also have differences that can be contrasted. First, the non animated version is much longer that the animated version. The non animated version is close to three times as long as the other. This is due to the extensive background that is given in the non animated film. For example, in the non animated version, they discuss the Grinch s past and how he arrived in Whoville. Also, the non animated movie introduced many more characters that have distinct qualities. ... • 5. Reflection About Geography Every other year, my high school offers a College in the Schools (CIS) geography course. In this course, there is one assignment that all the upperclassmen would always complain about. As an underclassman, I had dreaded the year that I was going to be receiving this assignment due to having a tendency to save my projects for last minute. I will never forget the mapthat taught me that procrastination makes the process of completing assignments more difficult, especially on a project that is for a college class. In the beginning of November 2016, my junior year, our college geography class received our quarter project: a map of the world. Our teacher, Mr.Sharstrom, assigned our class a large number of physical features that our maps needed to include such as rivers, lakes, islands, mountain ranges, seas, oceans, and deserts. Mr.Sharstrom required us to include all seven continents and a key that showed distinctions in the different physical features of the world. The maps needed to be to scale and show a minimum amount of distortion as possible. When we received our project, our geography teacher warned us, This project will be time consuming and you will not want to wait until the week before to start your maps. After communicating expectations with the class, a majority of my classmates began to work on their maps. I knew that my family was traveling to Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, for Thanksgiving break, so I wanted to attempt to complete as much of the map as possible ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Essay On Superintendent REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE Introduction Preparing teachers, principals and superintendents has been the responsibility of schools of education across the United States. Once they have completed their preparation these educators must tackle the challenge of educating America s youth. Education is still a major factor in the social, psychological, and financial development of one individual; it determines the difference between a life fully lived and a life only dreamed of while opportunity passes by. The role of the superintendent today serves many roles; the main function of the position is leadership. The superintendent as the top executive of a given school district, including a group of schools affiliated with the public school system. A direct connection exists between the superintendent and the school board that he or she serves. A superintendent reports to the local school board, typically a group of elected officials set to manage and organize the schools in that particular geographical area. The main responsibility of the superintendent is to make sure that the schools under his or her jurisdiction stay within budgetary constraints and provide an effective learning community for all children within his or her district. Under the directive of the school board the superintendent implements directives, manages the hiring of teaching staff, and oversees disciplinary actions that deal with the student body as a whole. • 10. Personal Reflection Of Personal Ethics In The Classroom I am one of the numerous amount of students enrolled in your class and most likely, you have no idea who I am. I am hopeful that this letter will apprise you about my personality, work ethic, and other characteristics. When I was younger, I enjoyed being constantly active; whether that be hanging off the couch while watching T.V. or running around my house yelling incoherent phrases to drive my mother insane, I did it all. One day, I stumbled upon a video of a girl teaching the viewer how to do a skill named the back handspring (a skill where you push off from an upright standing position into vertical back onto your feet to complete a full rotation). In awe, it inspired me to attempt it myself, until I realized it took a lot more to flip backwards and expect to land on your hands without falling onto your face. I can recall myself watching a plethora of these varieties of videos in where people demonstrated how to do different certain skills. I would be fascinated by the idea that you can maneuver your body to do tricks that most people would not dare to attempt. Not long after that, I begged to try out and, to my amazement, ended up making it into what would become my gymnastics team. When I first began, I was not prepared for the amount of work that was required of the individual, both physically and mentally. I remember the first practice I attended was one of my most exhausting. Being a newcomer to such an intense sport, it allowed many, many mistakes. The quote said ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 11. Examples Of Policy Issues Related To Maternal Health Policy issues related to maternal and child Health Introduction Maternal and child mortality remains a major public health problem for Kenya. Despite the Government s commitment to the international and regional health agenda, the country has lagged behind in meeting most of the targets set in the international and regional declarations. Besides communicable diseases, lifestyle related diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and cancers are increasing, hence posing a threat to the health care system in terms of diverting resources from basic health care services to these diseases. The huge burden of disease is due primarily to pervasive poverty, compounded by years of erratic application of policy, with the result that most of the population lacks the enabling environment for health, such as good nutrition, clean water, quality housing and conducive living environment. Weak public healths systems characterized by inadequate financial and human resources, inefficient support systems, and poorly coordinated responses to public health problems are responsible for the poor performance of the health care system. The Government s budget allocation to health care, which is currently at 8%, is far short of the 15% target agreed in the Abuja Declaration.2 For example, the number of nurses and doctors per population is 33/100,000 and 17/100,000, respectively, which is below the standard recommended by the World Health Organization(WHO). The book One Dimensional Man was both influential and highly critical of modern industrial capitalism and as Marcuse believed, its subsequent exploitation of people and nature, as well as its contribution to modern consumer culture and new forms of social control. One Dimensional Man offers an analysis of the new state of consumerism during the 1960 s through a critical lens. He also argues that it is the individual who must ultimately decide this, but at the same time, the individual does not have the mental capacity to do so (Marcuse, H. 1968). This development of false needs results in one dimensional thought and behaviour where the ability for individuals to think critically is compromised. This lack of critical thinking results in a flattening of discussion, critic and independence. What Marcuse is ultimately saying is that the capacity for independent thought is becoming blurred with the influence of consumer culture. The ability for those within an advanced industrial society to reason between two dimensions (Marcuse, H. 1968), in other words, to look at an industrial society characterised by labour and waste while still acknowledging technological progress, and to imagine a form of living that uses technology to aid nature rather than perpetuate poverty and oppression within the society. HISTORY Ancoats: the memory traces of an abandoned set of futures Castlefield: reborn as restored memorials to past industrial prowess Urban history, as a tool, has drastically changed our understanding of cities over the centuries. Urban histories possessed an explanatory power far above the intricate workings of one city; providing larger narratives centered on industrialization or other macro economic developments . Throughout the past 250 years, the world has seen drastic technological advances, the pivotal point in the history and growth of the world being the Industrial Revolution. Yet rarely does the average person realise the impacts of the Industrial Revolution on civilisation. Cities stand at the center of major civilizations, and their organization and structure compose a vital part of human history (quote by). Ancoats and Castlefield were vital in the Industrial Revolution, not just for Manchester, but also for the rest of the world. Both were formed through social, political and economic events. Their urban history allows us to pin point the driving forces that made the two areas so important. Symbolism In The Mockingbird Symbolism of the Mockingbird Mockingbirds don t do one thing but make music for us to enjoy they don t do one thing but sing their hearts out for us that is why it is a sin to kill a Mockingbird Harper Lee Mockingbirds are only here to sing their songs and to bring us joy. A Blue Jay is someone or something that preys on the week. Mockingbirds have to be shielded from the Blue Jays. Mockingbirds are only here to sing their songs and to bring us joy. A Mockingbird is innocent, without fault and only here to help. To kill a Mockingbird is a sin. (119) This is because a Mockingbird is an animal that doesn t cause harm and has proved to only have a pure heart. Tom Robinson is the predominant Mockingbird. Tom s death was like the senseless killing of songbirds. (241) Since another word for mockingbird is a songbird, this quote is telling us that Tom is like a Mockingbird and that his death wasn t supposed to happen. The unexpected Mockingbird is Boo Radley. Atticus looked like he needed cheering up I ran to him and said yes sir, I understand Mr. Tate was right he looked at me and said what do you mean well it d sort of be like shooting a Mockingbird. The way that a biochemical weapon is dispersed depends on many factors. • 19. Term Limits Should Not Be Beneficial Debate Paper Putting limits on the amount of terms a member of Congress can serve is a highly debated issue. Many people are against term limits. They argue that term limits are unconstitutional and that they infringe on the rights of the American people to choose who they want to represent their states. However, many people also argue that term limits would be beneficial. Term limits would be beneficial because it would put an end to career politicians, give new people a chance to solve the nation s problems, and limit corruption. The founding fathers left nothing about term limits for any political office in the Constitution. George Washington set the precedent for term limits when he retired after two terms in office. Most presidents after him also stopped running after two terms. Franklin Roosevelt was the only president with more than two terms. He ran and was elected four times, though he died in the beginning of his fourth term. After his four terms, the twenty second amendment was passed in 1951. The amendment says that no one should be elected to office more than twice. In 1995, the idea of term limits in Congress was brought to the United States Supreme Court. Following the end of the American Civil war, the Industrial Revolution came rushing in and brought with it tremendous changes the mechanization of agriculture, the invention of steam and electricity used machinery led to mass production factories, and the emergence of a massive railroad system. Change in the economy and society brought great wealthto the United States. Consequently, it was a giant magnet for immigrations. However, the distribution of wealth across the population was not even. The American working class in the last half of nineteenth century suffered from povertyand oppression. Several documentations and stories were written in response to the people suffering. Two of them Child Labor in The Canning Industry of Maryland by Lewis W. Hine and Maggie: A Girl of The Streets by Stephen Cranevividly described the living and working conditions for the working poor. In the period of 1860 1900, the majority of the working class, including native born and immigrants, clustered in two largest industrial areas: the North East industrial cities and the West agriculture farms. In the West, agricultures were dominated by land and railroad companies. Although the farming industry grew simultaneously, workers life did not improve. It is a sensitive piece of anatomy that can easily be abused, different frequencies at certain amplitudes through out our audible and inaudible ranges can slowly or very quickly damage our ability to perceive audio, even through something as simple as listening to your headphones mildly to loud. This damage can be present in many different forms each with variable extremities. Physiology of the Ear The ears previously mentioned are a collaboration of different very small and delicate organs and body parts. The first and most recognisable part of the ear is the only visible section, the Auricle, Pinna or outer ear, this works as the receptor for audio and works quite on the contrary to the horn of a gramophone, it s larger surface area allows for the capturing of sound waves and then funnels the vibrations in through the ear cannel to the other parts of the ear (Mackenna and Callander, 1997). The next piece of anatomy to receive the acquired sound waves is the tympanic membrane or the eardrum, this is stretched indirectly across the end of the ear canal, it operates as the main sound receptacle, when sound waves hit it s surface it vibrates, which then causes the ossicles; the combination of the malleus, stapes and the incus, located and attached to the eardrum transmits the sound to the vestibular window, two muscles then modulate the ... Resin composite materials are, complex blends of polymerizable resins mixed with glass powder fillers (Direct and indirect restorative materials, 2003). Originally, this material was designed and intended for anterior restorations only. Today, resin composite continues to be a preferred material of choice by dentists and patients, primarily because of the esthetic appearance and improved strength of the material (Hatrick et al., 2010). Today, the dental materials industry continues to evolve and has made tremendous gains on improving the mechanical properties of resin composite. Due to quality improvement of the material, Class I and Class II restorations are done using this material. (Alcaraz et al., 2014). In a 2013, article published in the Journal of The American Dental Association(JADA), authors discusses factors influencing the longevity of amalgam and resin composite restorations, over a 24 month period. The study was conducted by the National Dental Practice Based Research Network. The data analyzed in this study included patient factors, practice factors, and dentist factors. However, he is not the only one who seems to be unaware of the increasing tension that is mounting between the Somoza regime and the Sandinistas; even important figures, such as Colonel Laszlo Pataky, try to minimize the danger. Only Pedro Joaquin Chamorro, an anti Somoza newspaper owner, admits that war is on the horizon. From William Walker s conquest and presidency to America stealing the Panama Canal, and the later betrayal of Roosevelt and Nixon, there was plenty of reasons to harbor resentment for Americans.
