GIRL #1 - ISABEL
GIRL #1 – ISABEL MAKE UP
I have decided to get girl #1 to wear white. The connotation of white is purity
and innocence emphasising how she is a victim in this horrendous scenario. I
have also decided on simple, natural make-up in which connotes a sensible,
innocent attitude she has. She wears fashionable clothing throughout the
video and this is relevant to my genre and target audience. The target
audience will be inspired by the artist as she will have a particular star image
in which they would like to follow.
GIRL #2 - SELIS
GIRL #2 – SELIS MAKE UP
I have decided to get girl #2 to wear dark colours such as black and red. The
connotation of red is danger and determination as well as passion, desire and
love. This emphasises how the girl is mysterious and mischievous and how
she cheats. I’m directing my model to wear read lipstick and full, heavy
makeup. This makes her look more of a lady whom wants to impress and look
good, therefore making the male want to cheat with her.
BOY – JOSH OUTFIT #1
BOY – JOSH OUTFIT #2
I have decided to direct my male actor to have two outfits as there will be two
different scenes we will see him in (flashbacks and the actual day, trying to win the
girlfriend back). I wanted the first outfit to be smart as if it was ‘dress to impress’
as he is trying to ask for forgiveness and impress the girl. I thought that a white
shirt and a dark coloured blazer with a pair of jeans would look smart but casual.
Outfit two would have to be more relaxed and less covering of the male. As in the
flashback scene will be shots of him actually cheating, he will need to look more
casual and ‘sexy’. Therefore I have chosen for him to wear a black t-shirt which is
also a dark colour connoting the ‘evil’ side to him.

  • 4. I have decided to get girl #1 to wear white. The connotation of white is purity and innocence emphasising how she is a victim in this horrendous scenario. I have also decided on simple, natural make-up in which connotes a sensible, innocent attitude she has. She wears fashionable clothing throughout the video and this is relevant to my genre and target audience. The target audience will be inspired by the artist as she will have a particular star image in which they would like to follow.

  • 7. I have decided to get girl #2 to wear dark colours such as black and red. The connotation of red is danger and determination as well as passion, desire and love. This emphasises how the girl is mysterious and mischievous and how she cheats. I’m directing my model to wear read lipstick and full, heavy makeup. This makes her look more of a lady whom wants to impress and look good, therefore making the male want to cheat with her.

  • 10. I have decided to direct my male actor to have two outfits as there will be two different scenes we will see him in (flashbacks and the actual day, trying to win the girlfriend back). I wanted the first outfit to be smart as if it was ‘dress to impress’ as he is trying to ask for forgiveness and impress the girl. I thought that a white shirt and a dark coloured blazer with a pair of jeans would look smart but casual. Outfit two would have to be more relaxed and less covering of the male. As in the flashback scene will be shots of him actually cheating, he will need to look more casual and ‘sexy’. Therefore I have chosen for him to wear a black t-shirt which is also a dark colour connoting the ‘evil’ side to him.
