through prepared business vision, financial ratios, SWOT analysis.....etc.
Defining the budget type assigned for use (zero base budget, Incremental
budget….etc.) to match every company business position separately either
new business or existing one & that’s explains the company business
strategy.
Dividing every sector’s budget into sub budgets & each one should has it’s
own plan to link them at the end for generating the proposed financial
statements & their KPI’s.
Covering all the required data existed or potentially required on the sub
budgets to bring the most optimum level of accuracy.
Holding many meetings with each & every section head to collect the
required data to create the mentioned sub budgets like sales budget, Labor
budget, G & A budget, Direct & Indirect cost budget, Fixed Assets &
Depreciation budget, Marketing budget, cash budget ……etc.
Evaluating the Internal Control System & adjusting the required sides.
Monthly comparison between the actual & proposed data to highlight on the
variances, business indicator, strength & weakness points then improvement.
On the other hand & despite the planning tasks, I was acting as a Senior
Financial Officer in my first 5 months to get knowledge of the whole financial
documentation cycles:
Petty cash vouchers; supervising the expenses & the cost analysis
for the daily accounting entries starting from recordings, postings till
trial balance.
Revenue recognition; recognizing the revenue according to each
contract agreements for services rendered from our side.
Accrued revenues; confronting all our accrued revenues records
with its related cost center to push for progress bills.
Progress bills; full analysis for each case to direct the right accounting
entry to be recorded and asking for money collection.
