FMDV type-O antibody profiles in pigs and cattle obtained by
PrioCHECK SP-O ELISAs and NA titer against homologous strain
used in vaccine for pigs and cattle were observed.
For both of animal, sero-positivity rate and NA titer against FMDV SP-
O remained stable or tended to increase after administration of
second dose.
However, antibody responses for the MERIAL vaccine demonstrated
a gradual decrease after 2 weeks for most pigs.
Nevertheless, all vaccines used generated a sufficient antibody
response (NA titer ≥1.5 log10) in most cattle and pigs for the duration
of the trial.

FMDV type-A antibody profiles in pigs and cattle obtained by
In-house SP-A ELISA and NA titer against homologous strain
used in vaccine for pigs and cattle were observed.
For both of animal, sero-positivity rate and NA titer against
FMDV SP-A remained stable or tended to increase after
administration of second dose.
High NA titers were induced in the group vaccinated with Bago
as similar antibody profiles were demonstrated in antibody
profiles to FMDV type-O.

Objectives
- Foot-and-Mouth-Disease antibody response profiles in cattle and
pigs were observed for a certain period following the boosting
vaccination in accordance with the recommended schedules.
Outcomes
- This study demonstrated the three routine vaccines adopted by the
Korean-Expert-Committee for FMD vaccines confer enough long-term
immunity for protective capability against FMDV when properly
applied for the recommended vaccination regimes.
