OBIEE Act As Proxy User Functionality In this article, I try to explain the concepts of “ Act as Proxy ”. One of the very good features of BI EE is its ability to enable proxy functionality for all/some users. Use Of line Types In Oracle Purchasing Oracle purchasing application provides the line type feature for clearly differentiating orders for goods, services or outside processing orders. The line type controls the type of various documents like Purchase Orders, Requisitions you create. You can select a default Line Type for these documents. Data Level Security Using Virtual  Private Database Virtual private database graciously use the FGAC (fine grain access feature) which was implemented by Oracle 8i.It helps us with Data Level Security on the database side by applying policies. The advantage is that if there are multiple applications accessing data from the database then it is not necessary to implement data level security in all those applications.       [READ MORE]
