Employment History:
Whilst looking for a permanent position I have enrolled on, and successfully
completed, an Administration course to gain the valuable experience needed to
transfer from Hospitality into Retail and Office duties. Whilst doing this course I
was able to do my own independent learning on – line through the Civil Service
Learning website to support this transition.

The Priory Hotel: Bar Supervisor and hotel receptionist including daily administration
and diary control catering to telephone bookings as well as walk ins. Daily bar duties
and cellar management including taking and dealing with deliveries.
The Golden Lion: Assistant bar manager, dealing with deliveries, cash handling,

Personnel duties including discipline of staff, training and on-going support, and team

The Golden Lion: General bar duties, customer service, deliveries, stock monitoring,
dealing with difficult situations. Also included covering sick leave and holiday at short

3. The Kittiwake: Marston’s Inns and Taverns - Front of House member of staff,
predominantly working behind the bar with duties including serving the customers,
dealing with complaints and communicating closely with the kitchen. Occasional
waitress with duties including maintaining the standards of the restaurant, serving food
and drinks to the tables and ensuring the customers have everything they require. As of
August 2012 duties were extended to cater for the Christmas planning as I took on the
role of Christmas Co-ordinator, including the scheduling of events nights, delivering
progress meetings and ensuring the staff were fully briefed on a monthly basis at team

Speedferries.co.uk - Port security personnel with duties including searching
passengers and their vehicles, logging items that have been seized and communicating
with the bridge on board to ensure members of the crew are aware of any fire-arms on
board to ensure the safety of both crew and passengers. Summer Season 2009
The Eagle Inn - Head bar maid and key holder with duties including every - day
running and monitoring of the bar and stock. October 2007 - November 2008

ISS Security - Covert security at high profile events, identifying personnel building
searches, risk assessments and liaising with the general public. 1 month emergency
contract for June July holiday cover 2006
Odin Security Services Ltd - Secretarial duties, basic accounting (using Sage), dealing
with clients on the phone and in person. Running the office while the Directors were
over - seas. Co-ordinating the security teams on various contracts across London ,
drawing up rotas and dealing with emergencies within my teams. Head Door
Supervisor, Team Leader and SIA approved Trainer and Exam Invigilator. Sites held,
such as the Royal Albert Hall also had Risk assessment checks at high profile events.
June 2004 - March 2005 for training purposes related to the new SIA badges.
Reboot Security - Door supervisor at Wetherspoonsaround Kent , including Head Door
Supervisor at The Eight Bells Dover - August - December 2004 and returned October
2005.
ASTS/Samurai Sec. - Contract moved to another firm but my position was held as Head
Door Supervisor and additionally an on site Trainer for new staff at the site. Continued
over the Christmas period then new staff fully took on the contract.
Covert Investigation Services / Africa Ltd - CCTV monitoring of 36 camera digi
system for a night club in Canterbury and monitoring of CCTV Town Centre radios,
logging information and ensuring the safety of guests. (Weekends only) July 2002 -
April 2004
Then under the same umbrella contracted out to further companies until 2006
