At first, I understood the basic principles of what accountants do and how they work. Secondly I took
another step toward my profession by learning some key terms in accounting and improving my way
of thinking about how businesses work. I was amazed by how meticulous accountants should be,
because even the slightest mistake may get a person or even a company in a lot of troubles.
I believe that my experience during the course helped me improve not only my knowledge and
perception about accounting and the world in general, but also group assignments were a good
practice in communication and teambuilding. In both groups, where I have participated during this
semester, everyone worked on equal conditions. We were trying to assign duties among ourselves by
mutual consent and personal abilities. We were learning from our mistakes, and I believe that this
experience was a worthy investment in our future lives.
Finally, BUS 220 was the most exciting and enjoyable course in this semester for me among other
