Preparation of detailed project report for waterways in cluster-4 Rivers, Orissa (Role:
Project lead)
The project mainly consists of exploring the potential of rivers in cluster four for year round
commercial navigation. Conducting two stage study, feasibility study and DPR stage. Report needs
to be prepared for identified feasible waterways and that would include detailed hydrographic
surveys, investigation, traffic survey, proposed location for terminals and cost assessment etc.my
roles includes overall coordination of the project, review of reports, review of survey report,
assistance in technical and commercial issues.
Development of Sunderbans Inland Waterways (Role: Project lead)
The project consists of conducting Technical Economic Feasibility study for making waterway
round commercial navigation so that, Sundarbans waterway can be developed ecologically,
environmentally and economically. For commissioning the development of the waterways in-line
with its objective, Hydrographic, Traffic Surveys, investigation and analysis of the requirements
for development of Waterways, terminals, vessels etc. were carried out. Major roles handled are
overall coordination of the project, review of reports, review of survey report, assistance in
technical and commercial issues.
Project Development Consultancy for Development of National Waterway -4 &5 (Role:
Coastal/Marine Expect)
The project mainly consists of revalidation of the technical, commercial/traffic potential and
financial viability issues, study the relevant regulations of IWAI and Ministry of Shipping, explore
the possibility of dividing NW-4 into different stretches to augment feasibility for development as
a PPP, project structuring for PPP modes, etc. This work also involved review of previous reports,

Marine facility rejuvenation project – Brunei LNG (Role: project lead)
Brunei marine facility consists of LNG loading jetties (new and old), marine flare platform, boil
of gas platform and 4.5km long approach trestle. PCSO group has assigned me to carryout detailed
inspection of all marine facilities and to evaluate the existing jetty condition. This work also

FEED studies on LNG Import & Regasification Terminals
This project mainly consists of planning and design of jetty to cater for mooring of FSRU and to
facilitate transfer high pressure gas from FSRU. As marine structural engineer my roles were
planning of jetty facilities, design of berthing and mooring facilities, co-ordinating and attending
safety/ risk workshops, identifying coastal/marine risks, planning of hydrodynamic studies and
review of third party reports.
Jetty re configuration and mooring studies- Gore Bay, Australia (Role: project lead)
Jetty mainly consists of two berthing dolphins, four mooring dolphins, service platform, and
approach trestle. Jetty was originally designed for crude oil imports in LR vessels, as an additional
business prospective jetty is being used for ships which it was not designed and these results in an
improper mooring configuration for MR vessels. PCSO group has assigned me to carryout detailed
study for ascertaining reconfiguration of the jetty required to provide safe mooring for MR vessels.
This study also involved, review of existing jetty layout, review of Optimoor reports, identification
of key issues involved in the mooring, co-ordinating and attending safety/ risk workshops,
identifying coastal/marine risks, development of remedial measure and preparation of report.
Concept selection study for BSP export systemupgrade, SBM (Role: marine civil engineer)
BSP existing SBM CALM buoy has completed its design life and there is a plan to replace SBM
with a new system in next 2-3 years. PCSO group has assigned me the task of study & evaluate
various options to help in the selection of suitable replacement system for existing SBM. This
work involves interaction with Shell buoy operators, buoy vendors, to prepare a detail concept
selection report & write a basis for design for crude export system upgrade.
R&D studies for Outside Battery Limit Infrastructure studies for Generic 1 MTPA LNG
export (Role: Dy. Project manager)
Project mainly consists of carrying out research and development to select marine infrastructure
including LNG storage tanks using conventional/tested and non-conventional/untested
technologies in two parallel tracks. Conventional tested technologies mainly include conventional
jetty, land based LNG storage, offshore storage (FSU), side by side mooring, tandem mooring,
lean jetty etc. Non-conventional non tested technologies include identification and checking the
feasibility of handling LNG through subsea cryogenic pipelines, flexible hoses, tower mooring,
tandem mooring, single buoy mooring, multi buoy mooring etc.
