Lead Structural Engineer for the secondary steel design of boat landing, J-tubes, grout lines, working deck, crane
pedestals, internal platform, etc. Involved in the design from concept stage till detail design. Work also included
assessing the secondary steel design to G9 Offshore Wind Health and Safety guidelines and approaches taken on

EDP Renewables – Review Consultant Contract - Moray Firth Met Mast Foundation (Mar 2014 – Dec 2014):
Senior Structural reviewer for Accidental Impact to the Met Mast due to a drifting barge. A loaded scour protection
stone dumping barge (8,000 tonnes displacement) hit the foundation structure due to failure of anchor holding
mechanism causing plastic deformation in the Met Mast structure foundation. Assessed short term, mid-term and
long term risks. Works involved assessing detailed FEA of the scenario, ULS and remaining fatigue life of the
structure after the accident.
SSE – Alliance Framework Contract - Beatrice Offshore Wind farm Limited (BOWL) (Nov 2014 – Dec 2014):
Senior Structural Engineer for the detailed design of secondary steel for the WTG jacket sub-structures. Lead work
packages for Ship Impact Analysis, and Vortex Induced Vibration (VIV) of J-tube and jacket members. Specific
metocean data (wind, wave, and current) assessment for boat landing positions for 84 jackets Wind-wave
correlation for finalising the DLCs for the coupled analysis to arrive at the fatigue weightings for post processing in
