My Career summary:
I am a senior business executive with 16 years of local and international business experience which 5 years as
owner of my company. I have started in total 3 companies in the wine industry that all imported products from
Portugal, Germany and Italy. Overseas travel was one off my yearly activity as I visited our suppliers and also
trade shows to investigate and search for new suppliers. My role as Managing Director I was responsible for
management of staff; international supplier’s relationships and agreements and the financial spending and cash
flow management of the company. Exchange rate negotiation with banks for payments abroad was a monthly
duty.
I am currently in the role of Key account manager and new business development at Rotolabel. My position is to
deal with the big cooperate clients and make first contact and start negotiations to become a vendor.
My previous employer, Orchard Suppliers I was appointed as Market executive to start a new product range in the

1. Account Executive – (November 2012 till current)
The title of Account Executive is not our actual job flow – I am a Key account manager and business
development. My appointment was for the role to seek new business, but the sales model requires 80% to
manage existing client’s requirements which involve high level of administration. This role also includes quoting,
stock management and client visits current and cold calling. I concentrate mainly on bigger clients (KWV, Distell,
Chill Beverages, Robertson Winery, and SAB Miller). Rotolabel specializes in self-adhesive labels and works in
all the areas of the market with the top 5 clients in Woolworths, Johnson & Johnson; Ina Paarman; Glaxo Smith
Kline and Rainbow Chickens. We are the biggest self-adhesive printer in Africa and are also part of the Bidvest
group of companies.
ORCHARD SUPPLIERS (PTY) LTD
2. Market Executive (January 2012 till October 2012)
Duties:
My duties were to start a new product range imported from Germany for Orchard Suppliers. I was the contact to
get all wineries involved to launch this new product range. Cold calling was one of my biggest focus areas and
also marketing in various advertising materials. I visited Germany to investigate the production plants and quality
control. Imports and stock management for the start-up was a key role of mine.

Duties:
I was in the role as Managing Director. Importing of natural corks from Sardinia and Portugal and wine filtrations
