The document describes the production and editing process for a newspaper advertisement for a documentary. An image of Primark was used with a photo of Nicole maximized and superimposed holding tea bag shopping bags instead of regular bags to relate to the documentary title. During editing, keeping the background image of the shop was debated but ultimately kept for the mise-en-scene. Text and logos were made bolder and larger since they didn't stand out initially against the photo, and white blocks were added behind the text to make it more noticeable while still allowing the image to dominate.

2. Images used
For the newspaper advertisement, we used an image of Primark with people walking past
with shopping bags amongst the picture of Nicole which was maximised to stand out also
with shopping bags. However, we replaced those shopping bags with an edited picture of a
tea bag to make it look like an actual bag to relate to the title of our documentary.

3. Editing
During the editing process, we contemplated leaving the background plain as we
thought Nicole might stand out more. However, the background image we used
added to the mise-en-scene well and made the advertisement look more
interesting. Ultimately, we decided to keep the background of the shop.

4. When I added the graphics and the logo to the image, I found that they
didn’t stand out enough. Therefore I emboldened the text and increased
the size of the image. The logo was then much more noticable but the
scheduling of the programme was dominated by the rest of the image. I
added white blocks behind the text to make it stand out and then had
finished the editing of my print advertisement.
