IIn2012,2013,MYFhasbeenimplementingvariousprojectsonyouthemployment,
raisingyouthinvolvementinthesociety,understandingsocialresponsibilities.Asa
centralyouthorganizationinMongolia,wehavebeenmeetingyouthsfromdifferent
sectorstolistentheiropinions,havemaderesearchandanalysis.Asaresult3projects
havebeendeveloped:“EcoUlaanbaatarstartswithbicycles”,“Ishallneithertakenor
offerbribes”and“AlcoholorSport”projects.Theseprojectsarenotentirelynew,they
hadalreadybeeninitiatedin2011.In2014,weintendedtoexpandtheminorderto
reachthereachtheconcreteoutcome.
Lastweek,MYFpresentedallthreeprojectstothemembersofParliamentinorderto
taketheirsupportforfinancingtheseprojects.Theprojectsareframingindeedthe
urgentissueoftheyouthsinMongolia.‘’EcoUlaanbaatarstartswithbicycle”project’s
maingoalistodecreaseairpollutionandtrafficjaminUlaanbaatar,toexpandbicycle
usageandtoprovidesaferiding.Corruptionbecomesdeterrenttotheeconomicde-
velopment,increasesinequalityanddeepenspovertyinMongolia.“Ishallneither
takenorofferbribes”anti-corruptioncampaignwhichhasbegansinceApril,2012is
ttointroducedamages,badconsequencesofcorruptioninsocietyandtoreduceit,

FromthelastApril,forthepreparationofour5thregularforum,MYFstartedtoorga-
nizeYouthForuminallprovinces.Ontheseyouthforumsthestructureisrenewed,a
newstaffsareelectedandactivitiesareimproved.Munkhbat.A,presidentandCEO
ofMongolianYouthFederationhasbeenmeetingruralyouthstogettoknowliving
condition,problemsandopportunity.Theysharetheiropinionsonvarioustopicsto
defineurgentissuesfacingyoungpeopleandfindsolutionoftheseproblems.Asa
rresultyoungpeoplewholiveinremoteareahavechancetogivetheirvoiceindeci-
sionmakingprocessonyouthrelatedissues.
The5thregularForumwillbeheldunderthemottoof“Let’sinvolvein”.
Over850delegatesfromalldivisionsandcommitteesin21administrativeprovinces,
9districtsand320sumsofMongoliaareexpectedtoparticipateinthisforumtodis-
cusson5maintopics,includingeducation,health,employment,apartmentandlei-
suretimeofyouthonseveralsessions.Delegateswillsharetheiropinionsonfacing
problemsofyouthontheopendiscussions.
Basedonanoutcomeofdiscussions,anewyouthpolicyofMongoliangovernment
willbeproposed.Alsoonthisforumvision,objectives,fundamentalrule,structureof
MongolianYouthFederationwillberenewed,approved,andanewstaffwillbeelect-
ed.
Themainobjectiveof5thregularforumofMYFistoactivatetheinvolvementof
youthswhoarethemostactivepartofthesociety,insociallife.
Inadditiontobeingacceptedinaform
ofanaccustomedfavor,corruptionbe-
comesdeterrenttotheeconomicde-
velopment,increasesinequalityand
deepenspoverty.Corruptionhitsthe
hardesttostudents,youngpeople,for
almostalltheirlivesinMongolia.Since
April2012,the“Ishallneithertakenor
offerbribes”-anticorruptioncampaign
hasbeenorganizedbyMYFin
cooperationwithIndependentAuthorityagainstCorruptionofMongolia,and
TransparencyInternational.Thiscampaignaimstoexposeandfightcorruptionin
Mongolia.Thecampaignhasreachedover10.000supportersincludingbiggestor-
ganizationsinMongoliasuchas“ThedepartmentofTaxation,PoliceforcesandCity
Administrationoffice.Wehavedevelopedwww.avliga.mnwebsitewiththesupport
ofAsianDevelopmentFund,whereeveryonecaninformthecorruptionincidents
andcantakecurrentinformationaboutcorruptioninMongolia.Avligameanscor-
ruptioninMongolianlanguage.
