For my first piece of audience feedback I collected data from (15 people) my Media peers, by completing an activity in which we all watched each others video,
and commented back with criticisms and praises. This allowed me to get a technical set of audience feedback.
For my second piece of audience feedback I collected data from (20 people) another audience with no technical media knowledge by the use of the
Web 2.0 and social media (Facebook) and asking for any praises or criticisms as before. This allowed me to expose a neutral set of audience
feedback.
What music genre would you belive the
video to suit?

What suggests that it belongs to the
Childrens genre?

Is the main character relatable?

For my third piece of audience feedback I collected data from (20 people) another audience, who answered the questions accordingly after watching my final music
video. I intentionally split the questions into three categories: Genre, Praises and Criticisms, Narrative. Each category has three related questions. This allowed me to
find out whether the genre was represented clearly through typical conventions. What was good and bad about the video. And whether the narrative was understood
and clear.

Conclusion
In conclusion, from all my audience feedback I can say that I
was successful in creating an authentic video that conforms to
the Children film soundtrack genre. The narrative quality of my
video seemed to work effectively in communicating the
meaning behind the lyrics and the story I interpreted and
displayed. I am pleased my audience received and understood
many of the themes that run throughout my video such as the
adventurous aspect of Paddington Bear returning home. I am
impressed that my target audience were able to follow these
themes and the narrative that I created, without having
recourse to the song. This assures me of my ability to create a
video that successfully reflects the song and genre I chose. It is
clear that my use of editing and camerawork communicated to
my audience in a way that was accessible to them. Locations
was one of the elements that many of my audience members
picked up on and thought was interesting and engaging,
meaning I achieved the visual appeal I had intended. I was also
very proud of the fact I received very little negative feedback
or comments of improvement, illustrating I was successful in
producing a good quality video.
As a conclusion I have gathered all my primary audience feedback: technical feedback, spontaneous neutral feedback and the structured questionnaire feedback
and produced a ‘Word Cloud’, this allows me to expose all my feedback in an intense area so I can focus on specific feedback for my conclusion.
