The student conducted research through questionnaires to understand what their target audience, mid-to-late teens, liked in music videos. They found that the audience preferred videos with storylines over solely performance-based videos. During filming and editing, they focused on including elements their research showed the audience enjoyed like close-ups, bright colors, and a relatable storyline about a couple's first date. After releasing the video, a follow-up questionnaire found that the target audience on average rated it 7/10 and enjoyed the storyline, though wanted to see more of the band. The student determined that focusing on the audience's preferences through research led to creating a video they found engaging and would recommend.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

Evaluation Question 3
2. The Big Picture
Before we did any planning into creating our video we had to find our own primary
research into the sort of things which our audience would like to see in a pop music
video, this included questions asking about the type of artist they liked i.e groups or
solo singers, their favourite and least favourite music videos, we asked about this
as we could look at some of the videos and look at different elements which was
used so we knew not to use similar ideas. We also asked about video effects that
they liked and the sort of thing they prefer between a storyline or performance etc.
From the feedback we looked at we knew the sort of ideas we wanted in our video
and took in the information found from the questionnaire feedback. We also looked
at Andrew Goodwin’s Theory of what an audience expected to see in a music video,
taking note of the ideas we could include based on these points. We found that
pleasing an audience could be very difficult as we only took a small sample of our
target audience to answer the questionnaire, so other people could like something
very different to what we create. Later on after collecting primary research we also
created mood boards of our target audience the sort of things they liked in order to
get a better feel of what to include. When editing and filming our video we
experimented with a range of techniques so we could try and make our video
appeal to our audience as much as it could. In order to try and do this we ended up
changing our storyline half way through filming as we realised it wouldn’t have an as
good impact to our audience.

4. Your Planning
When we were planning we decided to create a questionnaire as this was a quicker
and more advanced away to get feedback from our target audience. When sending
out our questionnaire we decided to have a majority of our target audience so we
could see what they liked as well as a couple of people older or younger than our
intended audience as our video could always appeal to a mass audience. Due to us
doing this it did change our results as they were all very different from what we
expected however we focused more on the answers from our target audience than
the mass audience as the target audience is who we are aiming the video to
impress. We decided to create a mood board as we felt this would be very easy
thing to look back on when deciding what and where to film rather than having to go
through the questionnaire results every time. We felt that creating a mood board
would be very tactical. When deciding our final ideas and costumes etc we decided
to go back to Goodwin’s theory and set out our idea in a grid with each point that
the audience expect to see so that we could try and get as much as we could to
appeal to them as possible. The feedback that we got and researched influenced
the video greatly in terms of what we were going to have the people in the video
wearing and how we wanted to portray them, as our target audience were mid to
late teens we wanted our band to come off as role models and the storyline to be
something they can either relate to or aspire to have/experience.
5. Filming and Editing
When we started our filming and editing we had to look at our final ideas and how we were going to use
different shots to portray each individual and message. Our final idea included the majority of the video
being a storyline as from the audience feedback they liked to follow something or go on a journey,
however we also found that the audience also watch videos to see their favourite artists, this is why we
also had some shots of the band singing. When we were filming the storyline we decided to have two
different types of shots, mid shots and close ups, we did this so that the audience focused more on the
characters and storyline than what was going on around them. We also used different effects such as
slow motion effects, the reason we decided to do this is the fact that we always used quick cuts as the
song was upbeat, but the slow motion shots represented moments that the couple have and the
memories that they will hold on to. Another reason why we wanted to show more of the storyline is that we
wanted to audience to try and connect themselves to the story, or simply remember feeling similar
emotions at some point. When it came to the shots where we had the band we decided that we wanted to
have a lot of close up or mid shots of the band, this is due to the fact that the audience may feel more
connected or closer to the members as they watch videos to see the artist, we figured that this would be a
good way to try and get to know the band more by also seeing them messing around and just being
themselves. When it came to filming we ended up changing our idea as we were originally going to show
the band just hanging out together, but we looked back at the lyrics in more detail and noticed that the
song was more about love and relationships that friendship, in order to make this fit with the audience we
decided to follow a couple on their first date, we decided to film at an arcade as there were bright colours
to link with the powder paint scenes, as well as linking to our audience as they would be of age where
they would enjoy doing things like this. With the element of the band we reflected the fact that even
though one of them was in a relationship it didn’t effect their friendship and they are all supportive.

14. Feedback
Looking back at our final video, I feel as if it was successful, this is due to the fact when we were planning,
filming and editing we took precise care when looking back at our research to make sure the stuff we had
related back to our target audience, creating something relatable and fun, hoping that the audience wouldn’t
get sidetracked or bored.
In order to check if our target audience liked our final piece we decided to create another questionnaire to
send to our intended audience to see how they reacted to the music video. However we did send one
questionnaire to someone from the mass audience to see if it had any effect in our results, surprisingly it did
not and it was similar to our intended audience answers. First of all we wanted to check the rating that the
audience would give the video, on average we received 7/10 the thing the audience enjoyed most about the
video was the storyline, however the main improvements that were noted is that some of the scenes didn’t
link into the video and they didn’t see the band enough. If we were to re do the video we would take this into
consideration and try and feature more of the band and equal out what we show. However I feel as if our
storyline was successful and we made the right decision in changing it. When seeing what the audience liked
the most it was a mix of the bright colours and the storyline, these are typical codes and conventions we took
and tried to add to our video to help fit with the pop genre, this was another successful element that we
added. We also noticed that the audience liked the effects we used in the music video. However I feel as if, if
we had more time we would of loved to expand on our locations and scenery. We then wanted to see if the
audience found the video relatable as this was one of things we wanted to achieve as it would show we
understood what the target audience like and would want. Based on the feedback the audience related to it
based on the themes of love and friendship, however a couple of people did not find it that relatable as they
were single, I feel as if we were successful, but if we could improve it we could also add a storyline showing
that being single is also fun. Finally we wanted to see if people would recommend our music video to more
people everyone said they would and the majority being friends which means we met the expectations of our
intended audience as they all enjoyed it and would show it to others of a similar age.
