3. Narrative
■ Film follows a guy called Callum who takes part in a high tech experiment to do with
virtual reality.
■ The experiment allows Callum to go into the world of a sitcom show and become one
of the characters.
■ Callum is warned by a scientist that the experiment isn't fully ready but he chooses to
ignore this causing him to get temporarily stuck in the vr world for a while.After
freaking out he eventually manages to pull the headset off his face in the real world.
4. Characters
■ The main Character is named Callum he is a normal relatable guy who goes through a
traumatic experience. He guides the viewers through the story.
■ The scientist is the character who informs Callum what to do when getting into the
test room. He also foreshadows the fact that Callum may have a bad experience with
the experiment
■ The final two characters are Chris and Jackson who are characters from the sitcom in
theVR world, they greet Callum when he first arrives, immersing him into the
experience.
5. World
■ Set not to far in the future whereVR technology has become highly developed and
new ways of entertainment are being explored.
■ TheVR world takes the appearance of a Friends like sitcom in which people using the
VR can either watch the sitcom or become a character in it and interact with the show.
6. Style/Sound
■ Half reality half sitcom
■ Exaggerated performances from the sitcom characters
■ Bright lighting
■ Smart costumes apart from main guy
■ Cheesy upbeat music and also futuristic music
■ Laughter builds up as Callum freaks out more and more
