2. Filming Locations
•Wilderness – This will be used to show isolation from
civilisation. This will be filmed in a wood and on an abandoned
railway track.
•Lonely Urban Area – This will be used to show that the human
race has died out. This can be filmed in a large park.
•Possible School setting – We may have permission to film at
school after hours. Using the corridors, we can possible film a
hospital or safe room scene.
3. Target Audience
•The film will be rated a 15 because of some violence
and strong language, but not enough to be classed as
an 18.
•The main target audience will be aged 15-18. This is
the main demographic for most zombie films, and it
will have some blood and gore in it, which appeal to
that age. It would also be inappropriate for younger
audiences as there may be use of profanity
6. Plot
• The Opening of the trailer will show us taking a hike in the woods. We then discover
that something horrific has happened. The dead are living!
• We could also use the Lonely Urban Area to end the trailer. The camera could pan
across us to show our looks of anguish as we realize that the human race has pretty
much been wiped out.
• If a car is available we can have a back seat classic slasher style zombie jump scare.
Possible use of the mirror.
• We can also use a first person chase scene in the woods, with a shaky found footage
style camera to make it seem more desperate and realistic.
• We will take inspiration from “The Evil Dead” for this scene.
• If it is actually possibly to have access to De Warrenne Academy after hours, we can
definitely have the climax of the trailer to show us running down the corridor and into
the Common Room which could act as a Safe room.
