1. I have also copied the banner from the
front cover, however I have made it
smaller and added different text to it
telling the audience this is the contents
page. I have done this so that this
feature can become iconic to the
magazine.
Using the brush tool I have
also added a red glow to the
background, this makes the
magazine standout and also
gives the magazine a
professional feel.
The body text I have used also
matches the house style of the
magazine, it is clean and sharp
and therefore appeals to the
audience as it is easy to read.
This is the basic background
and template for my
contents page, this includes a
black background, to keep
the same house style as the
front cover.
I have also added a large red
rectangle this is where the
main text will go on the cover
page
I have now added text to the
rectangle. The red rectangle
and dark text contrast and
therefore the text stands out
and will grabs the audience’s
attention, it also keeps the
magazine house style.
I have also used large page
numbers next to each sub
heading, this feature has been
used in many other magazines
and therefore I have used it as
it is, an effective device and
telling the audience where to
find the information there
looking for.

allows the reader to quickly
know where that article is. It is
also a common convention
used in professional
magazines.
I have added images to the
contents page as this visually
allows the reader to see who
and what the magazine
includes. This appeals to the
target audience as it visually
engages them with the
magazine.
To finish the contents page I
have added text at the bottom
of the page. To do this I have
used the body text seen
throughout the magazine, this
is to keep within the house
style.
I have also added sub headings
using the red house style to
also keep with the house style
making the magazine look
more professional.
To finally finish the contents page I have added
some red rectangles at the bottom of the page to
separate the text from the images giving the
contents page a professional look allowing for the
page to appeal to the target audience.
