1) The GreenLys project in Grenoble, France is a large smart grid pilot project involving 11 partners across academia, utilities and technology providers. 2) The project aims to build an experimental smart grid platform in two districts in Grenoble and Lyon to test technologies like smart meters, distributed energy resources and demand response at a significant scale of up to 2,000 residential customers. 3) The results will provide insights into how smart grids can create value for customers, utilities and society by optimizing grid operations and integrating more renewable energy.
