These slides use concepts from my (Jeff Funk) course on Business Models at National University of Singapore to analyze the business model for a fictitious alliance between Qualcomm and Bosch. Together, these firms can create a dense network of wireless charging stations that can enable the use of inexpensive electric vehicles. The dense network of charging stations reduces the importance of range and thus the weight, volume, and cost of batteries that are needed to propel the vehicle. The slides describe the value proposition, method of value capture, customers, scope of activities, and method of strategic control for Q-Bo, a fictitious alliance between Qualcomm and Bosch.
This presentation details current models available for integrating electric vehicles onto the grid, case studies and possible improvements for future models.

The aim of this presentation includes that battery and super capacitor devices as key storage technology for their excellent properties in terms of power density, energy density, charging and discharging cycles, life span and a wide operative temperature rang etc. Hybrid Energy Storage System (HESS) by battery and super capacitor has the advantages compare to conventional battery energy storage system (BESS). This ppt describes the hybrid energy storage system that is suitable for use in renewable sources like solar, wind and can be used for remote or backup energy storage systems in absence of a working power grid.
This ppt based on my research work in the field of "Energy Storage Technologies(EST) and Hybrid Energy Storage System (HESS)".
Energy storage system can actually store energy and use the stored energy whenever the need arises.
As the need for clean energy arises, the need to replace current existing power plants have become a global issue.

Energy storage systems are the set of methods and technologies used to store various forms of energy.
There are many different forms of energy storage
Batteries: a range of electrochemical storage solutions, including advanced chemistry batteries, flow batteries, and capacitors
Mechanical Storage: other innovative technologies to harness kinetic or gravitational energy to store electricity
Compressed Air: utilize compressed air to create energy reserves. Electricity can be converted into hydrogen by electrolysis. The hydrogen can be then stored and eventually re-electrified.
Pumped hydro-power: creates energy reserves by using gravity and the manipulation of water elevation
Thermal: capturing heat or cold to create energy
The choice of energy storage technology is typically dictated by application, economics, integration within the system, and the availability of resources.

Ubitricity founder Knut Hechtfischer will describe a unique and innovative solution developed for residential on-street electric vehicle charging. This solution transforms the common street light into an instantly available electric vehicle charging point for those with on-street parking. At a time when electric vehicle adoption is increasing across the country, it is widely recognised that not everyone has access to a garage or even a driveway. This issue is particularly prevalent in major cities such as London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, etc. Street lighting however is available throughout most urban residential areas, offering a potential solution. In addition, columns fitted with charging points could also offer potential future revenue streams to cash strapped councils and can also tie in with future smart city initiatives.

Within the IRIS Smart Cities project three key areas are gaining traction around the Kanaleneiland demonstration site, but also city-wide:

E-mobility | Part 4 - EV charging and the next frontier (English)Vertex Holdings
For the mass adoption of electric vehicle (EV) to become a reality, EV charging infrastructure must be made accessible, quick and reliable. Current signs indicate the sector is moving in the right direction – with China, Europe, US and Japan accelerating their charging infrastructure rollout plans, and notable charging network operators (i.e. ChargePoint, EVgo and Tritium) making billion-dollar exits.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
Final project report on grocery store management system..pdfKamal Acharya
In today’s fast-changing business environment, it’s extremely important to be able to respond to client needs in the most effective and timely manner. If your customers wish to see your business online and have instant access to your products or services.
Online Grocery Store is an e-commerce website, which retails various grocery products. This project allows viewing various products available enables registered users to purchase desired products instantly using Paytm, UPI payment processor (Instant Pay) and also can place order by using Cash on Delivery (Pay Later) option. This project provides an easy access to Administrators and Managers to view orders placed using Pay Later and Instant Pay options.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies, programming language (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and MySQL relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website and also to know about the technologies used to develop such a website.
This document will discuss each of the underlying technologies to create and implement an e- commerce website.
Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.
