The painting that I choose to write my art paper on is Albert Bierstadt, Puget Sound on the Pacific
Coast you can find it on page 33 in our textbook. I chose to write on this painting for several reasons
that I am about to go in to.
The subject of this painting to me is a picture of the Pacific coast when a rainstorm is starting to come
inland. The context is Indians on boats just gotten to the coast to avoid the storm that has already
started at sea.
The painting also has many other elements that are used. The painting is represential, and it is also
used naturalism because it is not exactly that way that Puget Sound really is however it does look
similar to many of the beaches on the Pacific Coast. It is also realistic for how the coast

In the novel Freak The Mighty by Rodman Philbrick Max and Freak, two very different people,
become friends over the course of the book solving many problems a long the way. Max and Kevin
are both very similar but also quite different. They have similar problems in there life s but handle
them differently. Such as there family problems and disabilities. One of the similarities that these two
characters share is that they both have disabilities that make life harder for them. Kevin, or Freak has a
