Juanita Navarro grew up in a poor family with parents who were often absent and quarreling. She had to take on adult responsibilities from a young age like cooking and cleaning. Navarro faced bullying from neighbors and struggled with feelings of worthlessness. However, she was determined to study hard and create a better life for herself. Now as a teacher, her philosophy is to help her students and own children understand the importance of family, sacrifice, and having purpose and direction in life. She aims to be a positive example and give to others freely without expecting anything in return.
