May we always stay in love. Thanks for everything, I love you. Kiss me and I will see stars. Love me and I'll give them to you. Come away with
me sweetheart, to a land that far away and unknown, where it's just you and me with the sun baking our feet and the water wetting our cheeks.
Let's spend the rest of our lives in a paradise like this. I love you sweetheart. You and me Were meant to be You and me Have a long journey to see You
and me Are a couple born free You and me Are bound with love's canopy! I love you sweetheart. Have I ever told you how deep your eyes are and how
supple your skin is? Have I ever told you how glowing your face is and how gentle your heart is? Stop me right now with a kiss otherwise I will
keep going on and on! You are central theme of my life. The script and the story of my life is written around you. And trust me, the story of my life
is going to be beautiful! I don't need to pursue happiness. Happiness pursues me because of your presence in my life. Don't ever go away. Whenever
my mind goes from sleep mode to active mode, it boots up with the thought of YOU! You are the fuel of my life– too much of you could burn me to
ashes and too little of you will be unable to sustain me! I wish I knew some fancy words to pass a heartfelt romantic message to you but all I know
right now is to say with a smile that I love you tons and tons! The only thing I NEVER EVER want to think about in life is to say goodbye to

Reflection Of A Long Time
For a long time I knew that I was suppose to be, act, and think purely. I didn't think of it that much when I was younger, but as I began to grow up
and I entered high school; I started to realize that not everybody was brought up to think that. I've had several conversations with friends where all
they seem to do is question my belief in purity. They've told me so many things like, "why do you need to stay pure?", "are you really gonna wait
till marriage", "that's so dumb", "no one even does that anymore"... blah blah blah and I can go on forever. But the truth is that I never had a
response. All I could think of is to say, " Well I'm catholic... so yea..." I never had a legitament reason. I never knew what to say back and I even began
to question myself. "Why do I need to stay 'pure' or wait for marriage?" "Is it really that important?" " Wouldn't Godwant me to have a little fun?" Well
it wasn't until I lived this retreat and began teaming on it that I realized the meaning behind purity and I finally found not only one, but several reasons
to stay pure. I decided to put my thoughts on paper and share a few of them with you.
Number 1. Purity is a gift from God. I always like to think of it as this beautiful white dress that he gave each an everyone one of us the day we were
born. Now, you wear this dress everywhere you go and you proudly work it. But then..., temptations come along, and you get yourself into situations
where you might damgage your dress (a.k.a. Your purity).

Descriptive Essay : My Love
My Love,
I can 't express to you how much fun I had with you this weekend or how much I am looking forward to our next adventure together. So I 'm at least
going to make an attempt here to tell you how much this trip and this time with you mean to me. I loved everything about this trip...except maybe our
late night detour in the Pisgah Forest Walmart. Even then I 'm just glad I was with you. I will definitely never forget that night or how unbelievably
happy I was to see that tow truck. I 'm not going to lie baby, I was pretty close to kissing that truck driver.
I am also so happy I got to spend my birthday with you. I really liked grabbing tacos from Bakersfield, it was a great choice. And seeing your coffee
shop and some of your other places you go was good. It will be nice to put some scenery to places so I can actually picture where you 're at. Brown
Town was cool too. I really enjoyed River Jam and our great spots we got along the river and at the restaurant. We do get lucky baby. That place is
awesome. I am going to be jealous every time you tell me you are heading there. Maybe when I fly in for Hilton Head we could sneak in an early
morning hike there or somewhere else around Charlotte depending on when we leave?
Our camping trip was so beautiful and such a great time. The camp ground you found for us was amazing. It was so nice and quiet and I have never
camped at a walk–in site before and thought that was pretty cool. I absolutely loved our campfire after

My Life And My Future
When I was in high school, I wanted to travel to Untied State to study in university there when I finish the high school, and it was my only wish in
my life. All I wanted is go to there and study, but not all wishes in life anyone could be come true, it should be many things stop in our ways, and
something makes us stop thinking about it and give up. This is our problem we have, but we know that some of us have a determination and
resolve, and we could realize all our wishes without hesitation. And I was ones of them, I wanted to building my future by my self. The thing that
stopped in my way was my family or rather my father. He thought that travel to united state is so danger, and I might lose my life if I go over there
and no body knows about me. He was thinking that many danger things could happened to me when I travel there. In fact, he had bad thinks about
united state, and he thought all happens in the American movies are real, and I might be one of the victims in there. It was difficult to make my father
convinced, although he knows there is many people went to there and came back to their countries safely with their certificate. There was no way to
make my father agree. I was thinking many time to find someone who could talk with him and make him agree with that. One day I was trying to talk
with his friends and tell them what I want. Some of them wasn't want to do that, because if something happened to me there, my father will blame
them, but some of his friends

Analysis Of The Movie ' Television ' Tv '
As Oliver's parents, we know him best. So we would like to share our perspective of him with you. Oliver is a smart, active, unpredictable, funny 5
year old boy. His greatest love is for humor and being silly. One of his most favorite things to do is make people laugh. He will go from making
silly noises or faces, to saying something so very very random, just to see the reaction on your face. And of course, sometimes, these things may
involve bodily functions that most 5 year old boys would giggle about. He has many interests, and loves to pretend play. His love for game, movie, tv
or cartoon characters is extensive, from every superhero there is, to Spongebob`. He knows every tiny fact about them. He is fantastic at memorizing

He does not comprehend boundaries of other people, talking right in their faces, getting on their laps, giving hugs. Oliver also does not
comprehend the meaning of strangers, saying "Hi" and talking, he may even try to hug, anyone he sees. His social skills with other children is
limited, he has his older sister, Charlotte. He also spends time with a aunt and cousin who are older and a younger cousin. Playing with the older
children can be frustrating for him. He gets very loud, compensating for everything going on around him. He usually does not like to play what
others want to, especially if he isn 't fully interested, and will get angry if they do not agree with him. Sharing can be quite difficult, especially if it
is something he has become quite attached too. Although, playing with younger children, he seems to be the opposite, sharing, making sure he is
being very gentle, and quiet. That is when his nurturing side shows. Oliver 's emotions are very unbalanced. When he is not bubbly, giggling, and
happy. He will have outbursts without warning, cry or scream. He can have very high anxiety over events, or items, and takes things very literal
which enhances all of these feelings. At the same time, he has little sense for danger and little fear, of dangerous situations. Even if it is explained as
dangerous and why, he would run into a road if you 're

The King, A Man With Broad Shoulders And A Muscular Build
This morning, the king received word that a fire–snorting dragon was again terrorizing the countryside. It is scaring the people of his kingdom, and
they want to leave their land. He summoned his legion of knights and advisors to the castle for a meeting. Once before the king sent the royal
knights into the area, they tried to stop the giant lizard from roaming the lowlands and raising havoc in the kingdom. The knights, in their shiny
armor, could not slay the animal. Only chase him back into the mountains. Should he return to the valleys and fields they would have no option,
but to slay him. The king, a tall man with broad shoulders and a muscular build, is a respected leader on or off the battlefield. He ordered the tables
in the grand ballroom, pushed together to form a square letter U. The knights and advisers will be sitting on the outside of the tables. The king,
wearing his blue robe with the royal crest, will walk back and forth on the inside of the tables. Looking troubled, the king rested his right hand on the
handle of his sword. As he walked by looking at the people sitting on the other side of the table, he would, from time to time stroke his white beard
with his left hand. With a stern and demanding look on his face, the king made eye contact with each person sitting on the other side of the table as he
walked by. Stopping when he got to Titus, the king looked the boy for a moment, and then started to walk away. Stopping as he turned to look at the

K Pop 's Shady Business Secret Essay
K–pop 's Shady Business Secret
The Korean pop or K–pop industry over the last decade has experienced a major increase in popularity that has made it a billion dollar competition for
foreign music industries. They are especially known for their extravagant music videos and visual aesthetics, which have attracted worldwide
followings. K–pop companies are also infamous for being brutally strict on training and restrictions for their trainees and idols. They fixate on the
business growth over the musical talent and content. The problem that stems from creativity and commerce overlapping in the Korean pop industry is
the unethical treatment of its trainees along with the racialization and exploitation of idol groups in different global markets, due to the commanding
force of the industry.
The last decade has seen the rapid globalization and popularity of the korean entertainment industry worldwide, which is known as the Hallyu wave. It
expanded into international markets through social media platforms such as Youtube, which served as a method of free mass distribution, securing
many international fans. Having recently broken into the American and European market, K–pop exists as Korea's biggest export, the industry itself
being worth $3 billion. This results in creativity being determined by how much business flows into the industry internationally. As a result, there is
looming pressure on the industry to continue growing and making big money. "K–pop is a business in which

I ride faster, trying to get away from the pack of Orcs pursuing me. Their spiked armour hides most of their ugly form, but their appearance still

begins to slowly open and I look behind me as an Orc shoots his black arrow into my side. My blood seeps through my white dress and I cry out in
pain. The Orc laughs, satisfied that it has hit his target. The arrow's black poison works it's way through my veins, turning the one's around my wrist
black. The silver colored gate shuts behind me and guards clothed in blue armour tend to my restless horse. I force a smile at one of them, collapsing off

"Good to see you're finally awake." A sweet and comforting voice says from beside me. I turn my head to see Luthias perched on a chair beside my

"I was almost here, I could of made it if I wasn't wearing that stupid wedding dress." He laughs at my response. It warms my heart. Luthias then grows
serious and frowns.
"I was worried." I stared at him not quite knowing what to say. "Why?"
"You could of died. The arrow was poisoned." I now feel slightly embarrassed about being wounded in the first place. "Well, I'm okay," I tell him. He
stands up and moves towards me. His hand comes down lightly to caress my face and he smiles fondly.

My First Day Of School Essay
As I wake up, I can sense that the day is bright. The sun is shining bright through my room window. I feel as if I slept beautifully that night. As my
eyes adjust to the brightness and I look at my clock to see how much time I have to catch the bus. The clock isn 't working. Apparently last night
there was a power surge or something for the lights are just blinking at "12:00". I go out of my room ready to see my mother making breakfast like she
always has. "Mom?" I said to the kitchen. She wasn't there. This isn 't common, my first day of eighth grade and my mom isn 't here to make breakfast.
Maybe she left for her job early. Yet I see a note in the fridge. "Last night there was a power surge, I was going to wake you up but you were dead
asleep, so I let you sleep in. I hope all goes well on your first day of school! Love, mom." "Wait... If she wasn't late for her job, that means." I said to
myself. I knew what was going on. As I rush to my room to find my cell phone and see what time it is, my worst fear happened. I had missed the
bus and only had 10 minutes for school to start. "How will I even get to school?" I asked myself. Suddenly I heard a door slam from the house next
to me. As I see my neighbor and his sisters getting ready to leave for the first day of school I rush to open the door. "Wait! Jexavier! Wait!" I shouted
at him. He looks surprised. "I thought you were taking the bus..." he asked me confused. "Yes, so did I, but apparently last nights power

A Masterpiece Of Olfactory Art
Chanel No. 5: a masterpiece of olfactory art
It has been over a century since Mademoiselle Chanel, determined to reform the concept of femininity as much in style as in the essence, commissioned
at the chemist Ernest Beaux what will become the symbol of the international perfumery. Chanel No. 5 is unquestionably the most legendary ever made
fragrance, described as an opera of olfactory art. Independent, unconventional, and provocative Coco Chanel transformed her unfamiliar name in an
obligatory reference point for fashion design of the twentieth. Icon of female strength, she translates the complexity and elegance that characterize the
woman, with the creation of what would become the scent par excellence. Her way of conceiving the perfume is peculiar. When asked where to put the
perfume she replies: " A woman should wear a fragrance wherever she expects to be kissed" (A Woman). Coco also launches what turned out according
to the instructions of the designer had to embody a concept of femininity timeless, unique and fascinating. The avant–garde idea of Chanel breaks every
scheme imagining her fragrance for a modern and independent woman, far from the stereotype that envisages she should perfume of roses. Hence,
Chanel No. 5 is the first perfume that rejects the convention and symbolizes the technological and cultural innovation, furthermore, the women 's
empowerment.
Chanel No. 5 is a concentrated of absolute femininity that shook the world of fragrances forever with an

The Music Industry : Jessie James Essay
Jessie James established her on–stage persona through her music which has a sensible combination of pop rock and country singing. At a very early
age, she has already demonstrated her musical talents and later continued to explore the possibilities of becoming a celebrity. Aside from singing, she
also starred in her own reality TV show and has dabbled in other creative industries including fashion and makeup. To date, Jessie James continues to
astound the music industry, proving that big things come in small packages.
Born Jessica Rose James in Vicenza, Italy, the young Jessie was already showing potential at the tender age of two. With her parents as her
audience, her vocal prowess was discovered with her mere use of a toy microphone and tape recorder. She won her first singing competition when
she was nine when she sang "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart" during a singing contest in Baker, Louisiana. During this time, she has already
been composing her own songs using a plastic guitar. Soon after, the young talent was discovered and she had a taste of what it was like to perform
in a large audience. Her first notable appearances were during the opening of Sea World as well as the Republican Convention.
The following years in her teenage life were quite tough. She continued to create her own music and went to see if she can receive deals among
country labels in Nashville. She was 17 when she caught the attention of Carla Wallace of Big Yellow Dog Music. Her song, "Gypsy

A Brief Look at Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol was, and continues to be one of the most popular artists of all time. The reason he was one of the most world–renowned artists was his
"pop art" images, his Campbell's Soup Can being one of his most remembered pieces. (Rosenberg, n.d) Andy was intrigued by the sudden rise in
consumer culture and mass production, which led to consumerism in America being the centre focus of his art. (Tate Org, n.d) In this essay I will be
discussing Andy's journey to success, and how Warhol's art represents consumerism in America.
Andy Warhol (1928–1987), was born Andrew Warhola to Slovak immigrants. He was an artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who later in life, went
on to move to New York city to pursue his career. (video reference) Some of Warhol's' earlypop art images included the 210 Coke Bottles, 200 One
Dollar Bills, Campbell's Soup Cans, and Marilyn Monroe prints that were produced onto a large canvas using the repetitive technique of print making.
This particular type of work that Warhol produced is something that had contributed to America's sudden infatuation with consumerism. (Tate Org, n.d)
The pop art movement was effective because people who lived everyday lives were able to relate to Andy's artwork, as well as formulate their own
opinions to what they think the ideas and reasoning behind Warhol's artwork were (Kearney, 2012) What influenced Andy to create artwork that
included film stars who were apart of popular culture, was the interest he took in film stars

The Collapse Of Asia 's Economy
In the years following the collapse of Asia's economy in 1998, South Korea turned to alternative exports to assist in both the restructuring of the nation's
financial strength and it's reputation in international markets. As a result, pop–cultural exports such as films, television dramas, pop music and
celebrities associated with these forms of media discourses have found growing popularity in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan; as well as many other East
and Southeast Asian countries. This growing popularity of pop–cultural exports has proved to be a tool in constructing a contemporary national image
and encouraged the emergence of the 'Korean Wave'. According to Huang (2009) 'Hallyu' or the 'Korean Wave' refers to the "...popularity of South
Korean culture in other Asian countries" however, with the increased availability of digital media and the increase of social networking, the definition
of Hallyu has grown to include Western Societies.
The emergence of Hallyu came out South Korea 's economy collapsing during the 1998 financial crisis in Asia, when GDP plunged and caused a
turbulent period of financial insecurity within the public discourse. As a nation, from the early 1960's South Korea enjoyed a sustained level of
economic growth which would average at approximately 10% per year according to Koo (2007). However, during the later months of 1997, South
Korea experience a fierce economic downturn; with the nation experiencing a shortage of foreign currency reserves and as an

In the early evening back at home Consuelo was still pacing in front of the cafГ© window. Concerned for the safety of her only son, who had
departed this morning wearing his sleepwear and robe. Her jaw fell open when on the sidewalk before her appeared Stella and Sol, with much
audacity. Carrying up the path garment bags from a high end department store. Behind them was Dr. Edwards who had just pulled in after his long
shift at work. He walked towards Stella who was standing in front of the door. He greeted her with a big, juicy, wet, kiss, then they all just walked
right in.
Consuelo, who was still owning her tantrum, was offended by their smiles and casual stances. Not wanting to believe what she was seeing when she
questioned, "Are those really garment bags you carrying?" Calm and collect Sol put on her sarcastic tone and lifted her head and retorted "You saw the

are going to look your finest for the biggest mistake your daughter is going to make in her life? I just don't understand."
Sol replied proud, "You always put on a good face during bad weather, don't you go out in the rain with makeup? Consuelo was so appalled she could

Argumentative Essay: Pop-Tarts For Tickets
Pop–Tarts for Tickets
If you're a former or current student at Texas Tech University and you drive a vehicle, it's a highly likelihood that you've received a parking citation.
Although citations are not something to be excited about, those who have received a parking ticket can now get excited. In Fall of 2016, the program
Pop–Tarts for Tickets allowed people to dismiss tickets they have received by simply bringing Pop–Tarts.
Texas Tech Transportation & Parking Services dismissed the tickets of those who brought new, unopened boxes of Pop
–Tarts to their office throughout
the first half of September. In order to have a citation dismissed, a person needed to buy the amount of Pop–Tarts that at least equaled the value of their

She said the reason for choosing Pop–Tarts was simply because, Pop–Tarts are the most popular among children. Both Hogg and Stockard stated that
Pop–Tarts served as a treat for the children. Hogg stated, "It's not something they're usually going to get hardly ever if at all and we just wanted to
provide that for them."
Based off of the success of Pop–Tarts for Tickets, Stacy Stockard said that Texas Tech can look forward to seeing the program in the future.
Now some would pose the question as to why students wouldn't just pay their ticket with actual money since one must buy at least the value of their
citation in Pop–Tarts. "A lot of (students) will view (Pop–Tarts for Tickets) as a way to give back instead of giving to parking services," Stockard
responded. "Not to mention the fact that it's a fun way to give back."
Stockard encourages students to give back to their community whether it's Pop–Tarts for Tickets, Park Hunger, Toys for Tickets or any other
organization. It's safe to say that both Kacee Hogg and Stacy Stockard work to better their community by giving back out of the kindness of their

My Letter : A Letter Essay
Hi, I know you asked me to leave you alone and I'm not trying to disrespect your wishes. I just wanted to explain myself better and because I'm not
allowed to come see you and I don't have your address to send you a letter, this email is the only way. I'm sorry. I'm not apologizing because I sent
the wrong thing to you. I'm sorry because that, for no reason from your part, I doubted you. I'm sorry that I didn't come to you and talk to you
about how I felt. Babe, you have every reason to be mad at me and stop talking to me and I deserve it. As I said before, the last few days were very
tough for me. All these changes happening are making me question myself and bring a lot of my insecurities and fears to the surface. But I also
know that you're going thru a lot too and I didn't want to talk about this because I didn't know how without you feel defensive. I want you to know

seeing you on facebook appear offline but in the messenger you appear online all the time was odd. The combinations of all these things made me

Who Is Kellogg's Pop-Tart Appeals To Children?
Making an urgent decision becomes an unavoidable task in most people's lives. When such choices have never been presented to one before, unknown
consequences bring heavy stress to most. From sweaty palms to a rapid rush of panic flooding one's brain, making the decision feels heavy as one is
not used to being in these situations. Throughout life, people grow and obtain knowledge until – eventually – they know their place in life. Social
norms, such as individual restrooms, become placed on humans and people follow them almost all the time without thought; however, when someone
breaks a social "rule", people respond differently towards them. Some may find a broken "rule" confusing, while others may view it as comical. In

Targeting a youth audience is also effective economically. According to a report done by the Institute of Medicine, experts found that children of
ages two to fourteen have control over $500 billion a year in household purchases made by their parents (Calvert 207). Kellogg's takes advantage of a
child's low cognitive levels in their advertisement. In a study done by Health Magazine, fifty percent of children believed food featuring a cartoon
tasted better compared to the same food without the cartoon (Klein). As Christina Roberto, a doctoral student at Yale University's Rudd Center for
Food Policy and Obesity states, "Parents may not set out to buy unhealthy products, but kids can be really, really persuasive. They see them and they
want them, and it gets difficult to have that battle in the grocery store" (qtd. Klein). Alongside a child–friendly art style, Kellogg's personifies the
Pop–Tarts in their ads to build brand recognition. Doing so allows the company to create advertisements featuring the humanized pastries in various
scenarios that children find relatable or comical. Some argue against the practices Kellogg's has taken to market their Pop–Tarts brand. With children
being exposed to over 40,000 TV commercials each year, many believe brands such as Pop–Tarts take advantage of youth and their vulnerable,
developing, minds (Dittman). Being more susceptible to criticism, many say the advertisement is flawed as it contains an either–or fallacy since the
Pop–Tart is perceived to only have two choices available to it; Kellogg's takes this to create a humorous effect for the readers, as it is what creates the
confusion for the

William Shakespeare 's ' The Bed '
I looked at Lyon laying in the bed. I knew that this was Lyon, because everyone told me so. But the boy before me with the tubes running into his
nose, and the translucent skin was not the boy I knew. My Lyon was robust, overweight vibrantly healthy and possessed of a spirit that would cause
him to get up from his chair and dance across the room even if he was alone. The boy before me could barely breathe. His body was nearly lost in the
sheets of the bed and he didn 't move. He sucked in air through a tube in his throat and the machines pushed the oxygen into him in a rhythmic tempo
that was almost irritating. The machines around him hummed and made faint noises that filled the room with an ambient presence. The one closest to

A tear fell from my cheek and struck his chin. Another tear slipped out of his eye and trailed down to the pillow. He looked at me with an intensity

chuffing of a chuckle from his throat and chest. "It takes much more to kill me." I pulled myself away and looked into his eyes; now listless, dull
and faded. I let out a breath and told him everything. From his own condition to the development with the Pentagon. "I am not staying here while
you risk everything," Lyon argued, "I'll learn how to walk again." "This has nothing to do with walking or the Pentagon or my own safety. I have
to help Konnor and Jemima and everyone at the Rebellion. I am the only person who knows the secrets that the Pentagon has locked away. I am

"You are going to live, without one leg, but I want to keep it that way. You need to stay here." My voice began to rise. I began to yell at him. We were

Summary Of ' The Clackety Clack Sound Of Horse Hooves And...
The clackety clack sound of horse hooves and a jingling harness drew Allie's attention to the street below; she watches as Eli alights from the Harris
family carriage and tells the driver, George, to pick him up in two hours. Always courteous and a proper Southern gentleman, Eli never stayed longer
than two hours, which was the appropriate amount of time allowed for visiting with friends and family, otherwise, he said, you might wear out your
welcome.
It took several minutes before Eli reached the balcony where she sat watching the harbor; he took a seat in the other chair.
"Do you ever tire of watching the harbor?"
"No, not really– I enjoy sitting out here," Allie replied, tucking her pencil inside a pocket on her journal and securing the clasp.
"I see you have your journal out, have you written anything lately?"
"Not really; I've mainly been writing what I observe while sitting out here."
"And what do you observe," asked Eli, staring out toward the ocean.
"Ships that come and go– I wonder where they've been and where they're going when they leave. I wonder what they carry with them and what they
bring. The other day when I went to the market, I saw stalks of sugarcane– one of the vendors said that it came from Barbados. Barbados is an island
like Jamaica– maybe Thomas will take me there one day..."
"Daydreaming of other places helps pass the time, Cousin, but you must also watch for signs of an impending invasion."
"And just what might those signs be, dear Eli? According to

The storm eased. Clouds parted and allowed the golden rays of a Camelotian sunset to fill the room. Taran and Veerah separated, but held hands,
patiently waiting for Alis to check over their babies. Meanwhile, Siti, Cait, and Asla offered hugs, kisses, and congratulations, then wandered out to
tell the men the good news. "Your babies are lovely," said Alis, carrying over the first bundled baby and resting the child against Veerah's chest. "This
is your son. I'll bring over your daughter for Taran." Gods, Taran had never experienced such excitement in his whole life. His blood burned with

cheeks. Leo let out a grunt and opened his eyes. They were blue, Taran's deep blue, and Taran did not bother to check his tears of love. "Did you
hear all that?" asked Alis, a soft smile on her face. "Not a word," Taran confessed. Veerah chuckled. "Don't worry, Alis. I'll relay anything he needs

anecdotal..." The women kept chatting, and Taran shifted Leo into his left arm, then motioned for Veerah to hand over their daughter. He held both

Good Charlotte Band
With many popular hit in the early 2000's, Good Charlotte has made a name for itself in the hearts of many teenagers of that era. With song that speak
of the many adolescent struggles of teen's day to day life, Good Charlotte made a deep connection with their targeted teen audience. With songs like
Lifestyle of The Rich and The Famous, This band connects with the less economically sound demographic and shares a familiar story of social and
class issues. With their outreach to the less fortunate and anarchy punk sound, Good Charlotte creates a sense of energy and passion that cannot be
found in a mere pop band. While Good Charlotte does appeal to a large audience, to classify them as a pop band without following it by punk would
be an injustice to the band's music, lyrics, and overall message. A group of high school friends created the punk–rock band Good Charlotte in 1996.
Two twin brothers, Joel and Benji Madde, created the band after seeing a Beastie Boys concert in 1995. It was after this that the Madde boys started to
work putting together the band know as Good Charlotte. It was clear from the start that this band would have a high–energy sound that stemmed from
Beastie Boys, but Good Charlotte also added to this sound. With the integration of sarcasm and sometimes–silly lyrics, this band was on the way to
being a pop–punk band that was destine for fame. Good Charlotte was well on its way to stardom with the Madde twins covering the positions of lead

I can remember rare occasions as a child when I would wake up for school and there would be pancakes, eggs and bacon on the table and orange juice
or Sunny Delight to drink. These exciting occasions, however, were just that: rare. Most days I would bound down the stairs to the toaster loaded with
Pop–Tarts. I would usually be disappointed that I couldn't devour a wholesome breakfast, but I later came to understand the convenience of the
Pop–Tart. My parents could put pastries in the toaster and continue to get ready for their day without having to worry about too much clean–up. It was

Along with their release to stores across the country, store managers were instructed to put the Pop–Tarts in the cookie and cake aisle, opposed to the

Kellogg started out with only four flavors of Pop–Tarts: apple currant, blueberry, cinnamon and strawberry. Over the years they have come out with a
variety of different flavors including chocolate, French toast and a very popular s'mores version. The company decided not to frost the original version
because the creators thought that the frosting might melt in the toaster. The developers later came to realize that the frosting would not melt in the
toaster, however, and the first Pop–Tarts with frosting were released for sale in 1967.
In 1971, Kellogg decided to introduce Milton the Toaster, a cartoon character that would be used to help promote the product. The character was a hit
with the sample audiences and was launched nationwide, but the campaign was terminated after a commercial showing Milton the Toaster being
hugged by a child fostered a fear that children may try to copy the commercial and burn themselves.
Pop–Tarts came under a lot of scrutiny in 1992 when a man named Thomas Nangle sued Kellogg for damages on the grounds that his Pop–Tart got

Hallyu and Cultural Commodities: South Korea's growth of pop–cultural exports
In the years following the collapse of Asia's economy in 1998, South Korea turned to alternative exports to assist in both the restructuring of the nation's
financial strength and its reputation in international markets.
Korean culture in other Asian countries" however, with the increased availability of digital media and the increase of social networking, the definition
of Hallyu has recently grown to include Western Societies.
The emergence of Hallyu came out South Korea 's economy collapsing during the 1997–1998 financial crisis in Asia, when GDP plunged and caused a
turbulent period of financial insecurity within the public sector. As a nation, from the early 1960's South Korea enjoyed a sustained level of economic
growth which averaged at approximately 10% per year according to Koo (2007). However, during the later months of 1997, South Korea experience a
fierce economic downturn;

Describe The First Time At The Tea House
On a Saturday, I hiked up a mountain, holding a bouquet of flowers. I was heading to a small, wooden teahouse. I have always loved the teahouse
because of the fond memories it brought me. The teahouse provided a calm, rustic environment. Immaculate wooden furniture, frosted windows and
staff clothed in classical Chinese costumes took me away from the large metropolis that is Hong Kong to a nostalgically attractive, peaceful place.
I still recall the first time at the teahouse. It was a Sunday evening and a trio played classical Chinese tunes as I sipped my tea alone, completely
engrossed in thought. The tea I ordered gave me some refreshment. It was smooth and sublime, with flavors of crisp apples and sun–sweet tangerines.

I said, " I have missed these very much in Texas, but I have missed you even more. I am very happy that you came. I was worried that you would not

We rested on slabs of rock, having deep conversations about all that was happening in our lives. We were so engrossed in conversation that we
talked until sunset. We watched as a fiery crimson orb of light gradually sank below the skyline and threads of light lingered in the sky, coloring it
orange, then red, then dark blue, until all that was left of the sunset was a chalky mauve and then that melted away in turn as darkness stole the sky.
The clouds parted and a lustrous, argent disc appeared, emitting brilliant streaks of moonlight onto the dark grounds. I glanced over at Linda, who was
wondering at the night sky with an unwavering gaze. The fascination on her face made her look the most beautiful I had ever seen her– almost angelic.
An unexpected surge of warmth rushed through me. Linda and I were apart for four years and things around us changed, yet one thing remained. I
still loved her and she still loved me. Right then, I realized that our love would never truly go away. I would always love her because we shared the
best moments of our lives together and will continue to make more lasting

If I wanted a picture I'd buy a painting."
The second part is where the fun part actually starts, you're going to add one or two heaping spoonfuls of regular white frosting to the crumbled up
cake you have.
Keep adding frosting until you get the consistency pretty doughy, but still firm enough to handle.
After kneeding the dough thoroughly you're going to want to roll the dough out inch size balls.
A normal box of cake mix should make about 20 cake pops.
After all the balls are rolled out, they should go in the fridge or freezer for about a half an hour to help them set. After those agonizing thirty minutes
are up, you're able to take the cake pops out of the refrigerator or freezer, and then melt some almond bark.
After dipping the stick in the almond bark, you're going to want to stick it about halfway through the now official "cake pop".
The chocolate on the stick is to help the stick stay sturdy while you actually eat the sweet treat.
When you've finished putting the sticks into each of the cake balls, you should put them back into the refrigerator in order to help the chocolate solidify.
Transition:
The last part we're going to focus on is probably the most simple. Decorating the cake pop.
Using the previously melted almond bark, you can simply dip the cake pop in and spread a thin layer of chocolate all around the pop.
While the chocolate is still wet, feel free to decorate in any way you'd like. For today I just used simple sprinkles but there

Media Role Models and the Effect on Children
Media construct our culture, and the media we use to communicate with one another shapes our perception of reality. Our society is centered on
media, it is the most influential factor in constructing our culture, but is it a positive culture? If we examine the effect that media has on children, we
can say that it breeds a harmful culture, one that throws values and morals out the window. This is because the media is profit driven and has
developed its own code of ethics of "anything–goes". As a result, children are exposed to things that they should not necessarily be exposed to yet and
as a result it rushes their mental development and in fact moulds their mentality. This is a scary fact because these children's minds are susceptible...

Another example we could look at is Britney Spears, young girls who like Britney Spears think that she is В‘cool' and thus they strive to be just like
her, and this involves acting like Britney and more importantly buying Britney Spears products such as her clothing. So in conclusion these media
personalities are popular among children and idolized by them because they are promoted as being cool and for a child to be cool they must be just
like them, which involves buying their products. These media personalities are in essence products themselves that the media bodies try to sell to
children on the basis of В‘cool', and once they can be sold to the children as being cool, their entire franchise benefits because their image can create
the demand for all products with their likeness.
Now let's look at the effect that these media personalities have on children in the age group 5 and under. We assume that children are safe watching
educational programming such as "Blue's Clues", "Dora the explorer" and "Teletubbies", but are they really as safe as we think they are. First off,
these types of television shows are educational and do in fact teach young children while keeping them entertained. This can be seen as a positive

Asia in the late 1990s, and spreading to whole Asia and World, via the Hallyu culture. K–pop, J–pop and C–pop become to the leading musical
category in Asia. The biggest four entertainment company in Korea are SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment and FNC
Entertainment. Korean pop culture is becoming an increasingly global phenomenon, caused in part by the K–pop industry 's adeptness at tapping into
social networking services and the video sharing platform YouTube. Since the mid–2000s, the K–pop music market has experienced double digit

Personal Narrative : Soul Tattoo
Soul Tattoo As a kid, you're not supposed to experience true sadness, or that's what I thought. Losing one of the few people that care for you is
one of the toughest things to handle, especially when you're little. You know they're gone, but yet you still feel like they'll always be a part of
you. I had just gotten out of the shower and felt as fresh as an ice cube, then later realized it was the beginning of October with cold weather. I
changed into my light gray pajamas and walked to the kitchen to get a snack. Before reaching for the delicious strawberry poptarts that had just
came out of the toaster, the house phone rang. I ran to i fast because I didn't want my poptarts to get cold. I answered. "Mija, where's your
grandma? Go get her now! It's important." that's all I remembered from that phone call, but the moment I handed my grandmother the phone I saw
her bright smile turn into the world's most darkest frown. Out of the speck of my eyes, I saw small tears running down her face, with big worries
she ran quickly to get a sweater and her purse. " Vamos a agarrar tus cosas tenemos que ir!" my grandma started yelling, which meant to hurry up
because we have to go. Are you serious. I haven't even eaten my poptarts yet. Now they got cold. This isn't fair, it was a lot of work to make those.
Continuing to yelling in Spanish, she told everyone to get an extra pair of clothes and whatever we needed to be entertained because we were
apparently spending the night in

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... May we always stay in love. Thanks for everything, I love you. Kiss me and I will see stars. Love me and I'll give them to you. Come away with me sweetheart, to a land that far away and unknown, where it's just you and me with the sun baking our feet and the water wetting our cheeks. Let's spend the rest of our lives in a paradise like this. I love you sweetheart. You and me Were meant to be You and me Have a long journey to see You and me Are a couple born free You and me Are bound with love's canopy! I love you sweetheart. Have I ever told you how deep your eyes are and how supple your skin is? Have I ever told you how glowing your face is and how gentle your heart is? Stop me right now with a kiss otherwise I will keep going on and on! You are central theme of my life. The script and the story of my life is written around you. And trust me, the story of my life is going to be beautiful! I don't need to pursue happiness. Happiness pursues me because of your presence in my life. Don't ever go away. Whenever my mind goes from sleep mode to active mode, it boots up with the thought of YOU! You are the fuel of my life– too much of you could burn me to ashes and too little of you will be unable to sustain me! I wish I knew some fancy words to pass a heartfelt romantic message to you but all I know right now is to say with a smile that I love you tons and tons! • 2. Reflection Of A Long Time For a long time I knew that I was suppose to be, act, and think purely. I didn't think of it that much when I was younger, but as I began to grow up and I entered high school; I started to realize that not everybody was brought up to think that. I've had several conversations with friends where all they seem to do is question my belief in purity. They've told me so many things like, "why do you need to stay pure?", "are you really gonna wait till marriage", "that's so dumb", "no one even does that anymore"... blah blah blah and I can go on forever. But the truth is that I never had a response. All I could think of is to say, " Well I'm catholic... so yea..." I never had a legitament reason. I never knew what to say back and I even began to question myself. "Why do I need to stay 'pure' or wait for marriage?" "Is it really that important?" " Wouldn't Godwant me to have a little fun?" Well it wasn't until I lived this retreat and began teaming on it that I realized the meaning behind purity and I finally found not only one, but several reasons to stay pure. I decided to put my thoughts on paper and share a few of them with you. Number 1. Purity is a gift from God. I always like to think of it as this beautiful white dress that he gave each an everyone one of us the day we were born. Now, you wear this dress everywhere you go and you proudly work it. But then..., temptations come along, and you get yourself into situations where you might damgage your dress (a.k.a. Your purity). ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Descriptive Essay : My Love My Love, I can 't express to you how much fun I had with you this weekend or how much I am looking forward to our next adventure together. So I 'm at least going to make an attempt here to tell you how much this trip and this time with you mean to me. I loved everything about this trip...except maybe our late night detour in the Pisgah Forest Walmart. Even then I 'm just glad I was with you. I will definitely never forget that night or how unbelievably happy I was to see that tow truck. I 'm not going to lie baby, I was pretty close to kissing that truck driver. I am also so happy I got to spend my birthday with you. I really liked grabbing tacos from Bakersfield, it was a great choice. And seeing your coffee shop and some of your other places you go was good. It will be nice to put some scenery to places so I can actually picture where you 're at. Brown Town was cool too. I really enjoyed River Jam and our great spots we got along the river and at the restaurant. We do get lucky baby. That place is awesome. I am going to be jealous every time you tell me you are heading there. Maybe when I fly in for Hilton Head we could sneak in an early morning hike there or somewhere else around Charlotte depending on when we leave? Our camping trip was so beautiful and such a great time. The camp ground you found for us was amazing. It was so nice and quiet and I have never camped at a walk–in site before and thought that was pretty cool. I absolutely loved our campfire after ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Oliver is a smart, active, unpredictable, funny 5 year old boy. His greatest love is for humor and being silly. One of his most favorite things to do is make people laugh. He will go from making silly noises or faces, to saying something so very very random, just to see the reaction on your face. And of course, sometimes, these things may involve bodily functions that most 5 year old boys would giggle about. He has many interests, and loves to pretend play. His love for game, movie, tv or cartoon characters is extensive, from every superhero there is, to Spongebob`. He knows every tiny fact about them. He is fantastic at memorizing scenes... Oliver also does not comprehend the meaning of strangers, saying "Hi" and talking, he may even try to hug, anyone he sees. His social skills with other children is limited, he has his older sister, Charlotte. He also spends time with a aunt and cousin who are older and a younger cousin. Playing with the older children can be frustrating for him. He gets very loud, compensating for everything going on around him. He usually does not like to play what others want to, especially if he isn 't fully interested, and will get angry if they do not agree with him. Sharing can be quite difficult, especially if it is something he has become quite attached too. Although, playing with younger children, he seems to be the opposite, sharing, making sure he is being very gentle, and quiet. That is when his nurturing side shows. Oliver 's emotions are very unbalanced. When he is not bubbly, giggling, and happy. He will have outbursts without warning, cry or scream. He can have very high anxiety over events, or items, and takes things very literal which enhances all of these feelings. At the same time, he has little sense for danger and little fear, of dangerous situations. Even if it is explained as dangerous and why, he would run into a road if you 're ... • 7. The King, A Man With Broad Shoulders And A Muscular Build This morning, the king received word that a fire–snorting dragon was again terrorizing the countryside. It is scaring the people of his kingdom, and they want to leave their land. He summoned his legion of knights and advisors to the castle for a meeting. Once before the king sent the royal knights into the area, they tried to stop the giant lizard from roaming the lowlands and raising havoc in the kingdom. The knights, in their shiny armor, could not slay the animal. Only chase him back into the mountains. Should he return to the valleys and fields they would have no option, but to slay him. The king, a tall man with broad shoulders and a muscular build, is a respected leader on or off the battlefield. He ordered the tables in the grand ballroom, pushed together to form a square letter U. The knights and advisers will be sitting on the outside of the tables. The king, wearing his blue robe with the royal crest, will walk back and forth on the inside of the tables. Looking troubled, the king rested his right hand on the handle of his sword. As he walked by looking at the people sitting on the other side of the table, he would, from time to time stroke his white beard with his left hand. K Pop 's Shady Business Secret Essay K–pop 's Shady Business Secret The Korean pop or K–pop industry over the last decade has experienced a major increase in popularity that has made it a billion dollar competition for foreign music industries. They are especially known for their extravagant music videos and visual aesthetics, which have attracted worldwide followings. K–pop companies are also infamous for being brutally strict on training and restrictions for their trainees and idols. They fixate on the business growth over the musical talent and content. The problem that stems from creativity and commerce overlapping in the Korean pop industry is the unethical treatment of its trainees along with the racialization and exploitation of idol groups in different global markets, due to the commanding force of the industry. The last decade has seen the rapid globalization and popularity of the korean entertainment industry worldwide, which is known as the Hallyu wave. It expanded into international markets through social media platforms such as Youtube, which served as a method of free mass distribution, securing many international fans. As my eyes adjust to the brightness and I look at my clock to see how much time I have to catch the bus. The clock isn 't working. Apparently last night there was a power surge or something for the lights are just blinking at "12:00". I go out of my room ready to see my mother making breakfast like she always has. "Mom?" • 15. A Brief Look at Andy Warhol Andy Warhol was, and continues to be one of the most popular artists of all time. The reason he was one of the most world–renowned artists was his "pop art" images, his Campbell's Soup Can being one of his most remembered pieces. (Rosenberg, n.d) Andy was intrigued by the sudden rise in consumer culture and mass production, which led to consumerism in America being the centre focus of his art. (Tate Org, n.d) In this essay I will be discussing Andy's journey to success, and how Warhol's art represents consumerism in America. Andy Warhol (1928–1987), was born Andrew Warhola to Slovak immigrants. He was an artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who later in life, went on to move to New York city to pursue his career. (video reference) Some of Warhol's' earlypop art images included the 210 Coke Bottles, 200 One Dollar Bills, Campbell's Soup Cans, and Marilyn Monroe prints that were produced onto a large canvas using the repetitive technique of print making. This particular type of work that Warhol produced is something that had contributed to America's sudden infatuation with consumerism. (Tate Org, n.d) The pop art movement was effective because people who lived everyday lives were able to relate to Andy's artwork, as well as formulate their own opinions to what they think the ideas and reasoning behind Warhol's artwork were (Kearney, 2012) What influenced Andy to create artwork that included film stars who were apart of popular culture, was the interest he took in film stars ... The Collapse Of Asia 's Economy In the years following the collapse of Asia's economy in 1998, South Korea turned to alternative exports to assist in both the restructuring of the nation's financial strength and it's reputation in international markets. As a result, pop–cultural exports such as films, television dramas, pop music and celebrities associated with these forms of media discourses have found growing popularity in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan; as well as many other East and Southeast Asian countries. This growing popularity of pop–cultural exports has proved to be a tool in constructing a contemporary national image and encouraged the emergence of the 'Korean Wave'. According to Huang (2009) 'Hallyu' or the 'Korean Wave' refers to the "...popularity of South Korean culture in other Asian countries" however, with the increased availability of digital media and the increase of social networking, the definition of Hallyu has grown to include Western Societies. When such choices have never been presented to one before, unknown consequences bring heavy stress to most. From sweaty palms to a rapid rush of panic flooding one's brain, making the decision feels heavy as one is not used to being in these situations. Throughout life, people grow and obtain knowledge until – eventually – they know their place in life. Social norms, such as individual restrooms, become placed on humans and people follow them almost all the time without thought; however, when someone breaks a social "rule", people respond differently towards them. Targeting a youth audience is also effective economically. According to a report done by the Institute of Medicine, experts found that children of ages two to fourteen have control over $500 billion a year in household purchases made by their parents (Calvert 207). Kellogg's takes advantage of a child's low cognitive levels in their advertisement. In a study done by Health Magazine, fifty percent of children believed food featuring a cartoon tasted better compared to the same food without the cartoon (Klein). As Christina Roberto, a doctoral student at Yale University's Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity states, "Parents may not set out to buy unhealthy products, but kids can be really, really persuasive. They see them and they want them, and it gets difficult to have that battle in the grocery store" (qtd. Klein). Alongside a child–friendly art style, Kellogg's personifies the Pop–Tarts in their ads to build brand recognition. Doing so allows the company to create advertisements featuring the humanized pastries in various scenarios that children find relatable or comical. Some argue against the practices Kellogg's has taken to market their Pop–Tarts brand. With children being exposed to over 40,000 TV commercials each year, many believe brands such as Pop–Tarts take advantage of youth and their vulnerable, developing, minds (Dittman). Being more susceptible to criticism, many say the advertisement is flawed as it contains an either–or fallacy since the Pop–Tart is perceived to only have two choices available to it; Kellogg's takes this to create a humorous effect for the readers, as it is what creates the confusion for the ... The company decided not to frost the original version because the creators thought that the frosting might melt in the toaster. The developers later came to realize that the frosting would not melt in the toaster, however, and the first Pop–Tarts with frosting were released for sale in 1967. In 1971, Kellogg decided to introduce Milton the Toaster, a cartoon character that would be used to help promote the product. The character was a hit with the sample audiences and was launched nationwide, but the campaign was terminated after a commercial showing Milton the Toaster being hugged by a child fostered a fear that children may try to copy the commercial and burn themselves. Pop–Tarts came under a lot of scrutiny in 1992 when a man named Thomas Nangle sued Kellogg for damages on the grounds that his Pop–Tart got caught in his toaster and started a fire. The ... As my flashlight glided along them, I saw the rows and rows of lasers, guarding a large shiny safe, but I didn't come there for there money, so I kept walking. Finally, I came to what seemed to be the only labeled door, the Control Department. I busted in with my crowbar and shined my flashlight inside. After inspecting a while, I came across a little red box marked "sabotage". Inside the box were a couple of silver packets and a couple of blue packets. If I wanted a picture I'd buy a painting." The second part is where the fun part actually starts, you're going to add one or two heaping spoonfuls of regular white frosting to the crumbled up cake you have. After those agonizing thirty minutes are up, you're able to take the cake pops out of the refrigerator or freezer, and then melt some almond bark. Transition: The last part we're going to focus on is probably the most simple. Decorating the cake pop. Using the previously melted almond bark, you can simply dip the cake pop in and spread a thin layer of chocolate all around the pop. While the chocolate is still wet, feel free to decorate in any way you'd like. For today I just used simple sprinkles but there

Our society is centered on media, it is the most influential factor in constructing our culture, but is it a positive culture? If we examine the effect that media has on children, we can say that it breeds a harmful culture, one that throws values and morals out the window. This is because the media is profit driven and has developed its own code of ethics of "anything–goes". As a result, children are exposed to things that they should not necessarily be exposed to yet and as a result it rushes their mental development and in fact moulds their mentality.
