The Outsiders and To Kill a Mockingbird are very similar in many different ways.
The greasers in The Outsiders and Scout and Jem were different then the other
children and adults in the book. They also share two similar themes: Nothing is as

Jem, and Scout are very similar in characteristics too. They all see the same sunset,

Beltway Sniper Murders
The beltway sniper was a shooting spree that occurred in different areas throughout
Washington DC, the Metropolitan area, and Virginia, in October, 2002. It was a
two men rampage committed by John Allen Muhammad, who was the leader of
the attacks, and his accomplice Lee Boyd Malvo. An interesting fact is that Malvo
was only 17 years old when he participated in the three week reign of terror. They
did not have a specific objective because random civilians were shot and killed
during three weeks. There was a total of ten deaths, and three more critically
wounded. They were also connected with seven more deaths and three people
injured in previous crimes. First, their main goal was to take down Muhammad s

Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry, by Mildred D. Taylor tells the story of Cassie, who
is learning about the conflict about blacks and whites. Set in 1930 s Mississippi,
the main character sees and begins to understand the separation between blacks
and whites, and how the whites did awful things in order to get the blacks to listen
to them. Then, many bad things happen, including Mama losing her job as a
teacher, and Papa getting severely injured, while the plans with the boycott did not
