The newspaper 'Mūsų žodis' ('The Our Word') began publication on March 27, 1951 under the name 'Pergalė' ('The Victory'). It was originally written by hand. In 1961, the name was changed to 'Mūsų žodis'. In 1962, a printing typesetting machine was acquired. The newspaper's readership was around 1,000 in 1953 and peaked at 8,000 in 1990, though it now has around 4,000 readers and is published twice a week. 'Mūsų žodis' was fully computerized in 1997. It covers local news, events, people and community topics.

Our province is Mantua, though Viadana is closer to the cities of Parma and Reggio Emilia than Mantua. We are a vocational/technical school providing courses for young and adult students. Viadana holds several annual cultural events including a music festival and a literary prize competition. The local rugby team was founded in 1970 and has won the Italian championship and cup, playing internationally in Europe's top rugby competitions.

He played for the Soviet national team from the 1970s-1980s, setting a record for most seasons played on the first team. As a setter, he had no equal in the history of the sport. After retiring from the national team in 1988, he was the first Soviet volleyball player to play overseas, spending five seasons in clubs in Italy and Switzerland from 1987-1992. He was known as the best setter in the world and won numerous championships, including Olympic gold and world titles with the Soviet national team.
Ternopil
Ternopil is the administrative, economic, and cultural center of Ternopil region in western Ukraine. Vazov attended various schools to learn Greek, Russian, French, and Romanian. After Bulgaria's liberation from the Ottoman Empire, he worked as a teacher, translator, and member of a revolutionary committee. Later he held government positions including chairman of a court, member of parliament, and Minister of Education. In his later life, Vazov dedicated himself to writing, producing 16 books of poetry, novellas, short stories, and his most famous work, the novel "Under the Yoke."

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
