Bauer is a global media company founded in 1875 in Hamburg, Germany by Ludolph Bauer to produce business cards and other printing jobs. It has since grown to publish over 600 magazines across 20 countries with a workforce of 11,500 employees. Yvonne Bauer has led the company since 2010. Some of Bauer's most successful magazines include Bravo and Revue, which became favorites in German households, as well as early women's magazines Tina and Bella created in the 1970s. The company has also expanded into TV and radio broadcasting.
