The document describes the process of editing a music CD cover. It includes screenshots showing the evolution of the front cover, back cover, inlay, and CD itself. The designer cropped an image, added textures and song/album titles. Feedback prompted changing the background to be more musical. Text was added to the inlay about supporting breast cancer. The same textures were used throughout to ensure cohesion across the CD packaging.
2. CD FRONT COVER
Here I have added cropped Emma's image, also I have
added some colorful music texture and the song name with
album title. I have worked on the title colors and design of it.
3. Here is the second print screen of my music CD cover. I have added
two rectangle shapes at the top and at the bottom, to write some
text on it.I have done a pink background and worked on Emma’s
image to blend it in with the background. Also if you will look a the
previews slide and this slide, you can see that the texture that I have
used is a bit darker, because I have changed the color a little bit.
4. Here is the third print screen of CD cover. I have worked on the
title. As you can see it has changed from the previews slide,
because I added some contour lines and some other effects
to make the text more outstanding and more visible.
5. This is the final look of my CD cover. I have changed the
background as I’ve got some feedbacks that the background was
too plain and simple, so I have looked for some interesting and
music related background, also I have changed the font too.
6. COVER INLAY
This is the first print screen of my cover inlay. I have did background in pink
colour and I have added a circle shape of a bit lighter pink colour to make it
look with more interesting design. I have added a ribbon of the Breast
Cancer organisation symbol, and also title and the song name in light pink
colour background to be more outstanding.
7. This is the second print screen of cover inlay. I have used the same
colourful texture to make my CD cover look matched up together.
8. In this print screen I am showing that I have added some text here
where I have spoken about Breast Cancer organisation support and
raise of money to encourage people help and support people in need.
9. CD INLAY
This is first print screen of CD inlay. I have picked pink colour
to be as a background.
10. This is the second print screen of CD inlay. As you can see I have
added a CD shape here to show where the CD should be placed.
11. Here is the final look of my CD inlay. I have used the same texture
bits to make it go in a circle, I have made it to look not very clear
but you can still see the texture which again related and match
up with the CD cover.
12. CD BACK COVER
This is the final bit of CD cover which is the back of the CD cover. I have
used the same background texture as at the front of CD cover. I have
added album name on the sides so when this will be folded people can
see the album name from different sides of the CD cover.
13. Here I have added a song names and also ema’s website to visit and
see more of ema’s songs and albums.
14. Here is the last view of my CD background cover. I have used again
same texture to be related to the whole CD cover.
