There are four boys in the picture. They look like they are in boy scouts.
The four boys are riding their bikes on a dirt road, representing the Nazi salute.
The photographer was trying to show how much of an influence the Nazi Party had on
everyone, especially children. It shows how excited they are to be supporting the Nazi Party and
they would do anything to help them out.
This photo will never let us forget how children and adults were influenced by the Nazi Party
and maybe how they had no choice but to support them.
Where are the kids going? What are they going to do? What kind of supplies are they carrying?
Do they have any affiliation with the Nazi Party?

The four boys are German, because they are freely riding down the road on their bikes. It looks
like they are on a bike ride or camping because of their bags. They look proud to be saluting
Hitler.

The men in the photograph are soldiers in the Military.
It looks like the men are taking a break from rifle practice to take a picture.
The photograph is showing that the soldiers still have a smile on their face and they are happy.
Even though they are staying in the desert in tents.
The picture shows the men that fought for our country who we may never get to meet because
it was a long time ago. This picture allows us to think about them and subconsciously thank
them, because we can’t do it in person.
Where are they? Are they at war at this time? I would like to know how they are still happy and
willing to take a picture. What branch is this and what country are they from?

2. Enhance the photo and find out what their names are and where they’re from on their dog
tags. Enhance the picture to see if there are any badges on their uniforms.
I learned that if this is basic training, it was a lot harder back then. Soldiers can still be happy in
the heart of it all. Soldiers like these seem really close to one another.

The people in the picture look like the men in charge of this town or city, and the local people
and owners from the shops in the area.
The men pour out the liquid from the containers hints that it’s that prohibition. IT looks like
maybe the men found the alcohol in the local shops and are now pouring them out in front of
them.
The photograph is showing that they literally did pour the alcohol in the streets during the
prohibition. It shows how serious this was.
The picture is important to history because people in this time never got to experience the
prohibition and having this picture, along with all pictures, will never let us forget what
happened.
Why are some men smiling and others not? Where is this? What is that business in the
background? Who are the men in suits? Why are people gathered to watch?
Men gather to participate in the prohibition.
Enhance the photo to find: what it says on the bottles, what kind of business is in the
background, what is laying on the ground behind the men in suits, what the side of the building
says.
I learned that they literally did pour the alcohol in the streets. Alcohol came in very big bottles.
Everyone seemed about the prohibition happening.
