5 Start a New Slide Show

• Click-Click “Powerpoint”



• Type your name and
Name of the slide show.

6 Save a New Slideshow
•   Click “File,” then “Save As”



•   Type the name



•   Click-click “Save”
7 Save a Working Slideshow
• Click the blue and white square floppy
  disk.




• Or click “File.” then “Save”
8 Quit
•   Click the top X




•   Click “Yes”
9 Open Your Show

• Click-Click “Powerpoint”
• Click “File,” “Open”

    show and continue playing for a long time

     Camera—start a video
     Blank—link to internet

•      Click “Slide Show,” then “Action Buttons.”



    2. Click the button you want then draw
        it on the slideshow.
    2. Choose what you want the button
       to do.
    3. If you want to go to a webpage
       you need to insert the webpage
       address. Here is how to do it…
        **Copy the webpage address.
        **Click “Hyperlink”, then “URL”,
        then paste the webpage address.
31 Get Internet Pictures and Videos

•   Click on the big Sauk Prairie Novell, click on the big blue “e” that has
    “Internet Explorer” under it.




•   Type the word “clipart” or “video” and the name of the thing you are looking
    for. For example: type “clipart dog”.
•   When you come to a picture that you like…Right click on it. Click “Copy.””
•   Go back to your slideshow by clicking Microsoft Power Point.
•   Right click in your slide show where you want to put the picture. Click
    “Paste.”
•   DO NOT STEAL! YOU HAVE TO COPY AND PASTE THE WEBPAGE
    ADDRESS. Go back to the internet and copy and paste the webpage
    address into your slideshow.
32 Get Internet Sounds and Music
1. Click on the big blue e at the bottom of the screen to get to the internet.
2. Type the word “wav” and the name of the thing you are looking for. For
   example: type “wav dog”.
3. When you come to a sound that you like…
        Right click on it Click “Copy Shortcut….”

•   Right click in the gray area

For example: type “clipart dog”. • When you come to a picture that you like…Right click on it. Click “Copy.”” • Go back to your slideshow by clicking Microsoft Power Point. • Right click in your slide show where you want to put the picture. Click “Paste.” • DO NOT STEAL! YOU HAVE TO COPY AND PASTE THE WEBPAGE ADDRESS. Go back to the internet and copy and paste the webpage address into your slideshow.
