➤ Research a specific image in A Tale of Two Cities
➤ Choose three scenes from each book (NINE scenes TOTAL)
which develop both the motif and your understanding of the
motif’s importance or function
➤ Analyze the images as a motif (is it shown in multiple ways
or one recurring way?)
➤ How the motif enhances the book’s theme or develops
characterizations
6. PROJECT REQUIREMENTS (FILMING STAGE)
➤ Prepare and introduction and conclusion for your presentation;
address the overall sense you have of your image, address your
choice of scenes, and clearly identify the play’s theme.
➤ SUMMARIZE the scenes using a film editing program (iMovie,
Adobe Voice, etc) to create a creative presentation of the
scenes (using pictures/animations/illustrations and
narration).
➤ Between the summaries of each scene, explain why it was
chosen and how it helps develop the motif, theme,
characterization, etc.
