2. This example of a double page spread is taken
from an indie music magazine which is the
genre of music I have chosen for my
magazine.
I like where the pull quote is placed here and
want to position my pull quote like this.

3. Indie music magazines tend to have a plain white
background or a really dark plain background as
the backing of their double page spread. For my
double page spread I think I will use a white
background so that everything on my double
page spread will stand out more.
Indie music magazine’s tend to use dark colours. For
my double page spread I was thinking black text
and also some black text as I want the model of
my double page spread to be wearing black and
dark blue so I would like the text to match the
image.

4. Most indie music magazines tend to have their
text going across the spread in columns like the
example above therefore this is how I want to
position my text. But I don’t want my main double
page spread image to take up a whole page so I
will have it take up around half and then have the
text going across both pages in columns.
