This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover

- 1. Title: Gas Leakage Detection Automatic Robot
- 2. Literature Servey Gas Leakage Detection using robot is a suitable method. Firstly we seen this project on E-Yantra site, implemented by IIT students in 2015. This project uses sensor (MQ6) for the gas leakage detection. Robot firstly check the status of regulator switch for gas, if it is found to be in OFF state then, Robot moves along with gas pipeline to check whether there is leak or not. If the leak is detected, robot beeps at place and returns towards the regulator switch to turn off the system.
- 3. Introduction Gas leak detection is the process of identifying potentially hazardous gas leaks by means of various sensors. These sensors usually employ an audible alarm to alert people when a dangerous gas has been detected. The total circuit units are arranged on PCB board. The robot will stop at the position as the gas presence is detected and the Ping sensor will determine the location where gas leak has happen. If LPG gas presence is detected, alarm will be activated and LCD will display the information on the leakage and the location where it happens. If gas leakage is not detected then this mobile robot will keep moving and monitor the pipelines all the time.
- 4. Objectives The robot is to estimate the localization of the gas leakage source in an indoor/outdoor environment without any human intervention. Home Security can be used in home (especially kitchen area) to prevent accidents due to gas leak. The goal of industrial robot is to search interesting stuff from where people are not able to reach. The important objectives that are associated in installing of robotic system in industries are; o Saving of manpower. o Improved quality & efficiency. o Ability to work in any hostile environment.
- 5. Project Necessity • To avoid the destruction occurring due to gas leakage accidents. • It is not impossible to employ an human always for keeping watch on the gas- regulator , to avoid accidents. • In industry, there are number of gas pipelines if leakage occurs it will be hazardous and difficult to find out, if we used robot it will be simpler detection and destruction can be avoided.
