To study the working principle of gas and smoke detector system
To design and construct of the gas and smoke detector system and control system using Arduino with Bluetooth module
To implement gas and smoke design in the project
At the very first time of smoke creation so that avoided the unwanted accident
The main aim of this project is to avoid the accident and death in the gas leakage explosion in house, hotels and industries. Domestically we use natural gas and it is very useful for burning purpose. If this gas is leaked in our kitchens, hotels or factories and not sensed in time, it may lead to fatal disaster, and may cause human and material loss. For this purpose we have developed “GAS LEAKAGE DETECTION SYSTEM”.
Patient Health Monitoring System Using Arduino & ESP8266Rishav Pandey
Sometimes it happens when patients struggles to find hospital beds but due to high number of covid patients they are forced to stay at home and aren't monitored by any doctor. This Health Monitoring System designed with the help of Arduino UNO board and ESP8266 wifi microchip helps the doctor to monitor the patient remotely (connected via an IoT based platform ThingSpeak). ESP8266 wi-fi microchip is used to provide internet connectivity to our project (or we can connect our project to any wifi using same). The system consists of a pulse sensor and and an LM35 temperature sensor which measures the patient's heart beats per minute and body temperature respectively. The Arduino reads the sensor data, converts them into string, passes them to the IoT platform (ThingSpeak) and also displays the BPM and body temperature on LCD display.
In this way a doctor can remotely monitor the patients and take appropriate actions when required.
Gas and smoke use every day of our life. A big number of accident happen today everyday life from the gas. A huge number of loss occur from gas and smoke in our everyday life. Gas speared so quickly that an accident happen so quickly.
So basically we try to modify our project to make a gas or smoke detector that will response with the present of smoke and send warning sms.
Here you will find details about how you can make a fire detection system by using arduino and flame sensor. We have also added the budget you need to make this project.
In 1943 when Bonney Forge pioneered
the “Shape of Reinforcement” for branch connections, who would have thought it would fast become a
recog- nized industry standard. Today, Bon- ney Forge Branch Connections offer complete run pipe
reinforcement while avoiding cracks, fillet welds, and sharp re-entrant corner reinforcement taper-
ing at the sides, thus preventing abrupt changes in thickness where the fitting
joins the header pipe.

Gas spillage and gas chamber blast is a
standard issue in this day and age, particularly in
creating nations. On the off chance that the gas
spillage can't be recognized quick and no move is
made, may prompt blast and cause extreme harms to
life and condition. The past spillage location
frameworks just use cautions for notice. There is
nothing about the security. In this paper, a
framework is suggested that can identify not just gas
spillage, it can recognize blast, and fire too. What's
more, can make some defensive strides. It is
furnished with gas sensor to identify the spilled gas
and fire sensor to distinguish the blast and fire. It
has fumes fan framework to clear the spilled gas and
solenoid valve to channel the water or carbon
dioxide gas (CO2) if blast and fire happens. The
blast security framework reaction exclusively when
there is just a fire with no connection to gas
spillage. On the off chance that any episode
happens, that data is sent to proprietor through
remote media, a presentation demonstrates the
alarm message and bell makes the caution. It is
furnished with Global System for Mobile
correspondences (GSM) modem as remote media to
send data to proprietor through Short Message
Service (SMS). This guarantees preventive activities
promptly even without individuals on location. A
model of this framework has been created and tried
with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Fire too.
The trial results demonstrate that the framework can
recognize the gas spillage, blast and fire. It is
likewise ready to make defensive strides rapidly.
This life sparing framework is minimal effort and
valuable. It can shield individuals from consuming
alive.

Automation takes the complete control of total plants few authentication and manual actions are needed from user side for completing action .Hence there is a must situation for users presence at all times in the control for taking some timely needed control actions. The proposed system provides a good solution to this problem. The whole control room environment is additionally implemented in the arm-android platform and the same is communicated to the process through Bluetooth. Now the user in control can use mobile at anytime, anywhere to monitor and control the whole plant.8051 is used here for acquiring process control parameters from the sensors like temperature, gas etc and transmitting it via a Bluetooth module to an android device. Hence the parameter values can be monitored and stored simultaneously.

2. INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
• Leakage of LPG can be dangerous as it raises the risk of
building fire, suffocation or an explosion.
• For every 20L volume of air, 2% to 10% of LPG in air is
enough to cause an explosion. [1]
• The Chiba Oil Refinery fire incident in japan on 11th March,
2011 which caused six injuries and destroyed all 17 LPG
tanks comes to mind. [2]
• In such a case, a gas leakage detector becomes vital and
helps to protect people from the dangers of gas leakage.
• Thus, our project is aimed at designing and building a
wireless LPG leakage detector.
3. INTRODUCTION CONT’D
The primary objectives of this project are to:
• Review existing designs of gas leakage detector with
emphasis on the wireless type.
• Provide literature on gas sensors.
• Provide literature on the building blocks of the detection
and transmission, and receiving modules of a typical
wireless gas leakage detector.
• Design, build and test one for LPG.
4. REVIEW ON EXISTING DESIGNS
Review 1: Project done by R. Sreenidhi[3]
• MQ6 was used to sense LPG
• ADC was used to convert analogue signals to digital

5. REVIEW ON EXISTING DESIGNSCONT’D
Review 2: work conducted by V. Ramya and B. Palaniappan
[4]
NNNNN
• Two sensors were used but one could have sufficed
• A UART was used to enhance Receiving and
Transmission of signals
• PIC microcontroller was used to coordinate operations
6. REVIEW ON EXISTING DESIGNSCONT’D

8. THEORY
DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
MICROCONTROLLER
• The AT MEGA 128 is an 8 bit microcontroller. AT
MEGA 128 was chosen because of its low cost, low-
power, high-performance CMOS 8-
bitmicrocontroller of Atmel’s MEGA AVR family with
16K bytes of flash programmable and erasable read
only memory (EPROM) [7]. The microcontroller (AT
MEGA 128) works on 5V DC supplied to it from an
external DC source. It comes with an internally built
ADC which converts analogue signals to digital
9. SENSING CIRCUIT (MQ5)
•The sensing circuit consists of an MQ5 sensor
which senses LPG leakage of the order 200ppm
to 1000ppm (capable of causing explosions)
and is connected to the microcontroller to be
supplied with 5V DC. MQ 5 gas sensor was
chosen over other MQ S because it is suitable
for detecting LPG and natural gas [8]
10. GSM TRANSMISSION CIRCUIT
• This circuit is made up of the GSM SIM 300 MODEM and
powered by 12 dc fed from a rectifier. This GSM modem
can accept any GSM network operator SIM card and act
just like a mobile phone with its own unique phone
number. Applications like SMS control, data transfer,
remote control and logging can be developed easily [9].
The GSM which sends the text message “gas leakage
detected” to responsible parties this GSM module was
employed over other sims due to the following reasons:
• It is versatile and can accept any GSM network operator
11. GSM TRANSMISSION CIRCUIT
• It has a greater flexibility in its usage
• It comes with an added antenna for better reception
and propagation of signals
• It has a low cost
12. POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
•This circuit is made up of one 9V dc battery
which supply power to the microcontroller
and a 12 volt dc voltage supplied from a
rectifier. The 9V is stepped down for the use
of the microcontroller which in turn supplies
the sensor, the fan and the buzzer.
13. THREAT AWARENESS AND MITIGATION CIRCUIT
•This consist of the buzzer, the LED and the
fan.
15. HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS
• When gas leakage of a detectable quantity of 200ppm
to 1000ppm capable of causing explosion which
corresponds to 10KΩ to 47KΩ (20 KΩ is ideal) is
sensed by the MQ 5 sensor (which is capable of
detecting natural gas in addition to LPG), an analogue
signal is sent to the microcontroller from the sensor.
An in-built ADC in the microcontroller converts the
analogue gas signals into digital signals. For a
detectable gas leakage quantity, a digital high (1) is
transmitted while a digital low (0) is transmitted for a
non-detectable quantity.
16. HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS CONT’D
•This quantized high signal turns on a
buzzer to alert neighbours of possible
danger so they can react to diffuse the
situation. The signal also turns on an LED
to show danger. An automatically pre-
programmed message is then sent to
concerned parties via the GSM module to
inform them about the situation at home.
21. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
In conclusion;
• A review of existing designs of gas leakage detector with
emphasis on the wireless type has been done .
• A provision of a literature on gas sensor has been given.
• A provision of a literature on the building blocks of the
detection and transmission, and receiving modules of a
typical wireless gas leakage detector.
• A test of LPG leakage has been conducted for the build
system.
22. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
• To make this project more comprehensive, the
following could be addressed in further works
pertaining to this project
To make the reduction of concentration of the LPG
more efficient, an extractor should be used in place of
the fan because it would then take the leaked gas out
of the room thus reduce the concentration of the gas.
A valve should be placed at the nozzle of the cylinder
to stop any further leakage.
