This document describes an IOT gas pipe leakage detector robot. The robot clings to the outer surface of gas pipes and moves along the pipe to detect any gas leaks using an onboard gas sensor. If a leak is detected, the robot uses GPS and IOT to transmit the location of the leak. The robot is designed to detect leaks in gas pipes automatically and at low cost by moving continuously along the pipe. It consists of components like a Raspberry Pi, gas sensor, GPS module, and uses Python software.

IOT Gas Pipe Leakage Detector Insect Robot
Abstract:-
Gas pipes play very important roles for cities, industries and thus in growing
economies. So gas leakages lead to losses as well as are a threat because they can
also lead to fire accidents. Placing sensors ateach section of pipe is very costly. So
here we proposean innovativerobotthat clings on to the outer surfaceof the gas
pipe and moves with the pipe to check for leakages. The robotconsists of gas
sensor that is used to detect gas leakages. As the robot keeps moving along the
metal pipe it keeps monitoring for any gas leakage, On detection it uses an
interfacegps sensor to transmitlocation of th leakage detected over to the IOT
login system, Hereweuse IOTgecko to receive and display the gas leakage alert
and location over IOT. Thus we havea fully automated insect like robotthat moves
with the gas pipe and detects gas leakages instantly at a low budget.
