This slide describes the development of mobile social learning system as a part of social e-Learning system. The research leverages Java Android technology as a platform on the mobile device and Java EE as a platform on server. Multitier architecture and RESTFUL web service are also implemented in this research as an important consideration to provide high performance system. To test system performance, The research used JMeter as a tool to identify system capability such as response time and throughput.
The main aim of this project is to provide data to students in only one site. Students can gather the information from one site as well as give their feedback and create their own blog. Students can post their views and thought and analyze themselves.

These are the slides to my keynote on "Mobile Learning - Done Right", delivered at the Exec I/O Mobile event of the European Pirate Summit in Cologne on 5 September 2014.
This talk about functionality mashup and IMS Learning Tools Interoperability was presented at the IMS Korea meeting on 22-Oct-2010 at the Vivaldi Ski Resort in South Korea. It looks at the challenges of having far too many accounts to make use of the "Web 2.0" software.
I gave this talk about IMS Basic Tools Interoperability at UMassOnline. It was the first time I could give the talk with 100% working video and audio. So it was the debut of of the Mandy Web 2.0 account pain video.
This presentation examines three categories of technology for use in Higher Ed Instruction:

2) Cell Phones: Slides 18 - 31
3) Virtual World Learning and Second Life: Slides 33 - 56
SUNY Purchase and SUNY Delhi have begun a shared services project, where Purchase College provide Mahara ePortfolios to Delhi faculty and students through their Moodle LMS, while Delhi provides OpenMeetings and Big Blue Button meeting services to Purchase faculty and students through their Moodle system. Re Defining The Learning Architecture In Your School Tony Carrucantcarrucan
This presentation provides information on how schools can implement cloud computing to extend their learning architecture and optimise the use of social networks.
Web 2.0 is the second generation of Web development. It facilitates communication, secure information sharing, interoperability, and collaboration. Web 2.0 concepts have led to the evolution of Web-based communities, hosted services, and applications such as socialnetworking sites, video-sharing sites, wikis, blogs, and folksonomies. Web 2.0 enables users to run applications entirely in a Web browser. Users own the data on a Web 2.0 site and exercise control over that data. Web 2.0 sites, with their architecture of participation, encourage users to add value to the applications they use. This differs from traditional Web sites, which are solely for information retrieval and modifiable only by their owners.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
