Moodle Presentation for Teachers
Moodle is an online learning management system (LMS) that allows for rich interaction between teachers and learners. It will be replacing SharePoint as the new LMS for learning next year. Moodle provides a platform for organizing courses with different activities, resources, and tools to store, communicate, collaborate, and evaluate course content. Teachers will have focus groups to provide input on setting up the new Moodle site and are encouraged to try out the beta version.

- #21 If your student is sick and misses a couple of days, he or she does not have to fall behind because their courses and assignments will be online!

- #24 But we can get many other compatible bricks too such as Google Apps that incorporates email and calendars and will allow students to collaborate together on assignments using Google Docs. A translator can be one of these bricks and all types of neat widgets can be linked into Moodle.

- #27 Moodle is Robust and Secure, Your children will be save using Moodle. Everything that is done is trackable. Only people with an account can access the site. It is a safe place for your children to go on the Internet because it is created and maintained by their teachers.
