This document outlines the objectives and resources for Module 4 of a course on integrating English language arts and mathematics. 6. Assignments for Module 4
1. Discussion Board - Week 4 Forum
2. Math Integration - Using Tinker CAD or SketchUp, create a dimensioned CAD
drawing of a household object and calculate its volume - this is an opportunity
for you to use TinkerCAD (likely most appropriate for ECE and primary grades)
or SketchUp (probably most appropriate for middle/high school) to become
familiar with Computer Aided Design (CAD) for use in student PBL projects
3. Lesson Plan #3 - Applying ELA: Project Management and Journaling - see
Project-Based Unit_Plan532.docx- the purpose of this lesson plan is to focus on
how you will help students to plan for their PBL project
