This document summarizes the steps taken to model a thumb in 3D: 1) A cube was resized to form the basic shape of the thumb, then the face tool was used to extrude 5 parts to form the fingers. 2) The point tool was used to shape the fingers and joint tool was used to attach joints through the hand and fingers. 3) A hyperNURBS was added to give a more realistic look, then a metal material was applied and rendered. 4) A torus was added and resized to fit around the hand, and the same material was applied. Spears were also added, resized, and given the same material.
