I spent a day doing life drawings with peers, including quick sketches from 2 minutes to longer drawings of up to 1 hour. At first, I did not enjoy drawing bodies because I felt I was not a good artist and struggled with proportions, but after several practice sketches from different angles and heights, I became more comfortable drawing within time limits and not erasing as much. Reviewing my early and later sketches, I could see an improvement in my drawing abilities, helped by a tutor who offered suggestions. I intend to continue practicing figure drawings and other subjects to further develop my drawing skills and confidence.
