I spent a day doing life drawings with peers, including quick sketches from 2 minutes to longer drawings of up to 1 hour. At first, I did not enjoy drawing bodies because I felt I was not a good artist and struggled with proportions, but after several practice sketches from different angles and heights, I became more comfortable drawing within time limits and not erasing as much. Reviewing my early and later sketches, I could see an improvement in my drawing abilities, helped by a tutor who offered suggestions. I intend to continue practicing figure drawings and other subjects to further develop my drawing skills and confidence.

- 2. I spent a day with my peers doing life drawings, during the period of time we were able to do quick drawings and long drawings ranging from 2 minutes to 1 hour. When I first began the session I did not enjoy drawing the body as I felt I was not a good drawer and struggled to get the proportions of the body properly. But after completing several different drawings of the body at different angles and heights I began to become comfortable drawing in a set amount of time. As well as not constantly erasing what I sketched. Here is on of my successful outcomes I sketched of the body, what I find successful about the sketch is the fact I was able to look back and compare some of the sketches I done at the beginning and sketches I done at the end and was able to see that my drawing had improved. It was very helpful having the tutor walking around and suggesting what else I could do to my work, as well as suggesting to use different types of mediums. I am going to continue working on drawing figures of the body and even look at drawing other objects so that my drawing skills can improve as well as my confidence.
